You don't have to believe in imaginary entities to be too stupid & selfish to live.

No, but its a good start. Too weak minded to face the world without an imaginary friend holding your hand is pretty tragic. Plenty of them on welfare too.

Most of them are simply too stupid & selfish to live, and too weak minded to face the world without a tax payer supplied crutch. We shouldn't care about any moral argument of keeping them alive. Keep your personal beliefs to yourself.

One should always feel very safe having the lord as their protector, too bad about these people who will never hear the message. I am sure there are theological loopholes out of such absurdity, but there shouldn't.

The GOP hates poor people, just look at the contempt they have for people who are desperate and can hardly feed their family.

What's the GOP and what does it have to do with me?

Keep your moral belief system to yourself

Perhaps you could comment on what I actually wrote? You know, something about "foreigners entering a country and attempting to change the culture of that country?"

Was he trying to live there and get supported by the tribal welfare wealth distribution scheme?

    I agree.
This guy somehow thought he was doing gods work by bringing the "kingdom of Jesus" to this island.

Yea probably. It's difficult to convert the savages in one day when you don't speak the same language and I'm sure that he did not bring months of supplies with him, though he remembered to bring a football

2,000 years later. I thought Jesus said he was coming back "soon." Not a generation was supposed to pass away.

Yeah, the wonderful egotism of thinking your religion is the only religion. The happy thing for him is he will never know he was wrong.

And might have killed them in the process. These Andamans are not totally ignorant of the outside world and one of the reasons they eschew contact is because they know that one of the first things outsiders bring is diseases they have no immunity to. The authorities agree with this. These people live quite well with no contact with the outside world at all and I can't help but think that even God wants to leave them alone.

Your statement is just what I would expect of you. Do you in fact study the stereotype of the Ugly American so as to play the part on this board or what?

Stupid is never brave and certainly not commendable. He might very well have killed these people by bringing diseases they have no immunity to, only time will tell.

I wonder what all the evangelicals who think this guy was doing "god's work" will say if they send people onto the island to investigate their silence some years from now and find nothing but thousands of corpses

No, I don't, I never have and can't understand people that do.

Christianity is only just about 2000 years old. Archaeology says we've had religion since the Neanderthal at least, conservatively, 30,000 years. So for all that time no one had ever even heard of Jesus, yet he's the only true one? With all due respect, you're utterly mad if you think that.
