The Russian Federation hasn't been a communist country for almost 30 years now, so I'm surprised you don't know that. As I stated, the problem with Russia is that it has 30% of the world's natural resources and Washington knows that without those resources the world cannot survive.

When the USSR broke up and the Russian people were given shares in the different industries, it did them no good. They couldn't eat the shares when they were hungry, so they were bought up cheaply by certain individuals who were funded by foreign banks.

When Putin came into power and told these 'oligarchs' they either had to pay their taxes or go to jail, most fled with their money and they are the ones who hate and are demonizing Vladimir Putin.

As for the Russians in the Baltics and Ukraine, most are living on lands that had been theirs since time immemorial, so why are you calling them expats?

Anyway why should anyone have to give up their ancestral lands? Besides, if these Russian people were given the same rights as others within the boundaries of nations that were artificially formed by the Soviet Union, they wouldn't be posing a threat to those nations now. Instead they have an apartheid system to force the Russians to leave - and there lies the problem. Their own actions are contributing even more so to their paranoia, something that can only result in their own destruction.

 

I have news for you, that so called Putin stooge Yanucovich and Vladimir Putin never got along - but look, it doesn't matter does it, after all you're only saying it for its propaganda value.

Anyway to Yanucovich's credit, he decided to delay negotiating with the EU when he found out they wouldn't help him offset the losses Ukraine would encounter when Russia cancelled it's special trade deals. After all Putin couldn't have EU goods coming in through those deals.

The EU told Yanukovich to go to the IMF, but he refused to have the people suffer a 50% increase in gas as well as a 70% drop in social services. Today, the Ukrainians would be lucky if they had the terms Yanukovich refused.

Yatsenuk and Poroshenko not only accepted the IMF loans, but stole billions from them as well. Yats has been kicked out, but even the Nazis can't get rid of Poroshenko - probably because he's Washington's stooge. No doubt this latest with the Kersch strait, is so he could declare Marshall law and stop the elections that he could never win.

The claim that Poroshenko was scheming to declare martial law and cancel elections is laughable and typical Putin propaganda. He has already stated that elections will not be affected. Russia attacked and seized Ukrainian ships for no reason, and it's clear that it was done to try and give Russia a pretext to depict Ukraine as an aggressor. The declaration of martial law in certain regions is a necessary response to the threat of Russia's relatively superior military possibly coming in to steal more Ukrainian land, again under false pretexts.

Putin is fighting his own little war against NATO. It's largely an information war, but in Ukraine it is also a hot war.
