I would expect the news of her having cancer would be all over every news site. Just as it was when she fell and broke some ribs. But I haven't seen anything.

It was back in 2009 when she did have cancer.

Yes I know. But this thread was started today so it seems some people think she has cancer again.

Well most liberals are stuck during the countercultural movement of the 1960's and still haven't entered the 21st Century.

All biased sources. Congress is going to be grilling Huber soon. There is likely to be some there, there soon.

Funny how the donations just sort of dried up for no reason.

Some website contributors? That's like saying "Somebody saw Bigfoot"

    Woppty do.

And one 'purports' to contribute to Judicial watch? That's like saying one Bigfoot Hunter ''purports" to contribute to CNN.

    Woppty Do again.

Do you know how many fake stupid things are on the internet?

    I'll re-ask:

What significant person said Hillary was dying?

Every thing is all about politics these days. All about whatever can give one side or the other an advantage. No morals, no ethics, no civility, no compassion, nothing. Just win and gain power by any means available.

We've been practicing the politics of destruction for quite awhile now. Although some of this probably has been going on for almost forever, I noticed it beginning to get bad under Bill Clinton, worse under G.W. Bush, growing under Obama and now reaching new heights under Trump. Perhaps the only question left, is how high will the politics of destruction grow to. Until it destroys this nation?

I know it's Trump. It isn't my liberal ex wife. He isn't wearing a moo moo and she has longer hair.

The woman is 85 years old. She has fallen down several times and now she may have cancer. Is she trying to turn in rehnquist?

You don't need to be a md to know that there is something very wrong with her

I cannot find this story about Justice Ruth Ginsburg anywhere but the provided link to the "Santa Monica Observer". It may be accurate, but it would be more compelling if the story appeared elsewhere also.

I'd never wish cancer on anyone -- not even my worst enemy (no, not even on creatures like Chuck Schumer, Diane Feinstein, etc.) . I would not wish cancer on Barack Obama... perhaps that says it most sincerely and convincingly.

If she does have cancer, I would hope that she is successfully and quickly treated for it, and that she recovers completely. Then, for her own sake, at the age of 85, she really should retire. I may disagree with everything about her political preferences and judicial philosophy, but I hope she can find a way to regain full healthiness, and, every happiness in retirement.

I hope you're right, Jake. She has earned the right to retire with all respect and honor as a Supreme Court Justice. But, if she does not wish to retire, she certainly does not have to, and she can remain in her position for as long as she wishes.

Although I disagree with her viewpoints constantly (along with those of other Justices, like Sotomayor, and Kagan), Justice Ginsburg must be held in the high esteem of her position on the highest court in the United States. I wouldn't have it any other way, and neither should any other loyal American citizen.

No, probably not. I suspect that if she were incapacitated to that extent then it would take someone with Power of Attorney authorization to declare her retired.

I hope she doesn't have cancer, to do so would be an act of hatred of the kind that wished heart disease on Cheney, liver cancer to Limbaugh and Kananaugh (that was done by someone on this board) or wishing incurable diseases on the families of the politicians who were against Obamacare like that nut at Newsweek, that's the kind of hate you ONLY see on the left.

I want that Supreme Court seat and I want it badly. But getting it by RBG getting cancer is not the way I want it, it's like winning a sporting event by forfeit, it just feels wrong.

But when that seat opens up, I want Trump to pick a hard core conservative that libs can't block, and I hope s/he's thin skinned because whoever s/he is the left already has proof of him/her eating black babies, burning Qurans, hating on women, having sex with babies, and all kinds of other things. They'll make all those claims and say all the proof is on a DVD which we'll never see.

I was with you until she weighed in against a candidate in our presidential election. At that point, her mind is adled and she needs to go out to pasture.

Her criticism of candidate Trump was definitely in poor taste, and she did apologize to Trump for making those remarks a couple of days later. I don't defend any government-branch political appointee speaking against any party's candidates, and she was right to apologize publicly to Trump for having done so.

Let's just wish her the very best of health and the best outcome possible if she is going to have to battle cancer.

Actually, the article dates back to Nov. 8th.

(And has been discredited, and outed as FAKE, several times over)

BUT, they have been reposting it to spam RW sites with clickbait.

And, then of course (like moths to a flame or flies to...), the RW takes the bait.

And, of course, once it hits the RW Fever Swamp it finds it's way here

    If course it is FAKE.:salute:

She is getting old and old people lose mental faculties, forget things, get Alzheimers, lose reflexes, mental acuity... being a Supreme Court justice really requires mental prowess. Whether she can hold out long enough to make Trump replacing her too similar to Obama replacing Scalia is not clear, if she can hold out for a little longer... I met her over 20 years ago (at a law school Supreme Court visit) and I remember we were treated to a Q&A, she took so long to begin her answers I wondered if we needed to repeat the question. We asked questions relating to her favorite decisions, all touching on women's rights, these were all "softball" questions. She seemed very frail and truly ancient.
