Yet another caravan forced it's way across the southern border of Mexico clashing with border guards there. Looks like it's going to get very crowded very fast along the US Mexican border as trump denies them entry. Be interesting to see how Mexico ultimately reacts to this invasion as we don't let them cross the border. A wall sure would be nice right about now though don't ya think?

"DONAJI, Mexico – A third caravan of migrants – this time from El Salvador – waded over the Suchiate River into Mexico on Friday, bringing another 1,000 to 1,500 people who want to reach the U.S. border.

The third caravan tried to cross the bridge between Guatemala and Mexico, but Mexican authorities told those traveling in it they would have to show passports and visas and enter in groups of 50 for processing.

The Salvadorans expressed misgivings that they would be deported, so they turned around and waded across a shallow stretch of the river to enter Mexico.

Although police were present, they did not try to physically stop the migrants, who later walked along a highway toward the nearest large city, Tapachula.

Mexico is now faced with the unprecedented situation of having three caravans stretched out over 300 miles of highways in the southern states of Chiapas and Oaxaca, with a total of about 6,000 migrants. The first, largest group of mainly Honduran migrants entered Mexico on Oct. 19 and is now in Donaji, Oaxaca."

You mean only yesterday since the Mexican government agreed it was a problem at that something should be done?

I am not sure what else you are trying to say other than to try to be off topic.

People around the world are going more and more against unrestricted immigration, that is a fact. For a Mexican President to agree with that and say he wanted to take step to change it is a HUGE deal and shows those who think immigration "is fine" are obviously in the minority.

Other than that, like I said above, I am not really sure what point you are trying to make other than to change the subject?

Interesting tactic, do you think it regularly works?

Maybe your corporations & oil companies should pay for the wall... they caused the problem in the first place via the CIA, besides you've benefitted for a long time from all the money flowing out of these countries into America.... if you don't know what I'm talking about maybe you should try and learn about it.... the problem is not going to go away..may as well.

We've got a lot of CS gas though.

If it's good enough for the French, it's good enough for illegals.

    Hee, hee.
Yes, I remember the thread where the righties want to give Trump credit for doing nothing. The point is that most often when he does nothing he really gets no results.
Who knew immigration could be so hard.

The more caravans and the faster they come will convince more Americans that the wall is needed. Close the border and let Mexico deal with it.

Apparently you think letting the Soviet Union take over South America would have been for the best and everything would be peaches and cream down there

The wall would be very helpful and send a strong signal that no you are not busting in to our country.

Maybe Mexico will build a wall. It seems that these caravans didn't get the message that it sucks to be stuck in Mexico in a caravan. Mexico isn't going to spend the money indefinitely to sustain all these people in caravans forever.

Don't mind spending several thousand for a wall (my tax share of $25b), but it would be peachy if the Blowhard-in-Chief went after the perps providing employment for illegals.

Can you put in a word to Lard Bucket?

We can focus more on employers who knowingly hire illegal aliens in the future and should

Along with deporting the illegals themselves and rheir family when we find them on those jobs

These "caravans" are simply groups of migrants that have decided to travel in groups for safety. They reflect no more people coming to seek asylum than were coming before. And the wall won't stop asylum seekers, though our slow processing of them is doing that.

Policies like the war on drugs and military interventions and regime changes induced by foreign powers have created the desperate economic conditions and extreme violence many of these people are trying to escape.

It is going to get way worse. Building a wall will not solve the humanitarian problem
