One of my personal studies on the subject of End Times, CERN and a little of Flat Earth theory thrown in.

Last first because I just watched this old episode of West Wing.

Study on CERN brought me to this , 6 neutrons, 6 protons and 6 electrons make up the basic formula of life. 666.
More on the 666 that is very interesting ,imo.
Basic idea, click to 34 min.s into video.

No ,just studying the theories of things. No point or agenda at all.

At work, so can't watch the videos (I guess that's one of the reasons the forum rules say that clips should support arguments, not replace them).

Most stuff is made out of two kinds of quarks and one type of electron. If you want to count all of them, it'd be 6 quarks (12 if you count anti-quarks) and 6 leptons (12 if you count anti-particles), 3 (6) of which are electron-type, the others being neutrinos. You'd also have to add 4 gauge bosons and a Higgs boson.

There are so many numbers out there that if you pick and choose which numbers you look at, you can construct whatever number you want, it has nothing to do with 666 per se.

I'm sure no physics guru so this is all out there for me. But as I said, I'm just into basic study of religion and predictions .
    Thank you for reply .

Ok, well, my point is that there are so many numbers out there and so many ways to combine them that by sheer statistics, you're likely to be able to construct any conclusion. Basically, things adding up to 666 or 6-6-6 doesn't mean very much, since that can happen by sheer accident.

Did you go to 34 min.s and see what he was talking about? It seemed interesting to me. Also like I said ' its study'. Nothign sure.

No, as discussed, I can't easily watch videos, and it is against the rules to have your argument rely on them.

I wasn't trying to prove anything since it is just a study not a investigative report. Anyway it wasn't all that great to begin with. Have a good day.

I mean, you could argue just about anything if you play fast and loose with justifications for belief. In my opinion, to the extent that there is no point in discussing stuff without a decent grasp of its validity.

Yes I am. I still like to study on things but with 500 ways to believe it can be confusing.

Studying prophecy or predictions are a waste of time.

God has already told you everything that's important, the rest is just a distraction.

He didn't put riddles in the Bible for us to figure out, there is no Bible Code some smart guy is going to crack.

If something is confusing or mysterious its because He doesn't want you to know and no amount of "studying" is going to figure it out.

    You can't out think God.

If he wanted you to know he would have told you plainly.

If you are a believer then focus on your relationship with Him and trust that all will be made known to you eventually.

Otherwise you are not really living with Christ, you are wasting your time.

    A judgmental Christian.

    There is a shock.

You have no idea what I do with my faith and trying to determine that by a few posts on the internet means you have bigger issues than I do.

You should probably focus on those.

    Not me.

It is something I'm interested in. I'm looking for the connection to the numbers and CERN. It's a hobby of mine. I care little for Hollywood or sports. I also like to study ancient history.
Only use this for the numbers emblem, not the guy speaking, I don't know who he is.

So God hid something from you and you are going to outsmart Him and figure it out.

Maybe you should start your own post about not investigating or even knowing the god you worship? Just take the word of some preacher or priest who does study it.

Perhaps if you studied the Bible you would be aware of this.

“Do not judge, or you too will be judged. 2 For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.
3 “Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother’s eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye? 4 How can you say to your brother, ‘Let me take the speck out of your eye,’ when all the time there is a plank in your own eye? 5 You hypocrite, first take the plank out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother’s eye"

Then again that is probably asking for too much.

Nothing like an atheist pretending to be a believer.

    So easy to spot.

What about it? I used to work at CERN, I'd reckon operations are a bit more conclusive than just looking at the logo. Besides, what would be the point in putting stuff in a logo?

Maybe the sheer joy of rubbing it in our nose without most even realizing it?
Well closest i ever got to physics was Horticulture in college and not much of that.
Thank you for the help but I don't agree with CERN tampering with these kinds of powerful elements. for a better word.
Now I'm just a curious old lady who was once blessed with a high IQ but only used to raise some great productive kids who are now middle aged ,one was 50 this year.

What would be the point in that? CERN is not hugely concerned with other people, there is no particular joy in rubbing something in anyone's face. CERN is however hugely concerned with its particle colliders which happen to be two large rings with injectors, so I find it much more likely that that would be the source of the logo.
What is it that you don't agree with? There are very energetic cosmic rays hitting the earth all the time, CERN isn't doing anything that the sun hasn't been doing for ages. The only difference is that we do it under more control circumstances, and with very good detectors around it.
Nothing "only" about that, but if you want to challenge people, you may want to have a bit more info to start with.
