Looks like Trump wins again. No I'm not getting tired of winning! :xd:

    • French President Emmanuel Macron rebuked US President Donald Trump last month for putting the interests of US citizens above demonstrating moral values.
    • Three weeks later, Paris was set ablaze by thousands of working-class protesters who objected to Macron promoting an environmentally friendly fuel tax.
    • Macron is about half as popular in France as Trump is in the US. Macron has set himself up as the enemy of nationalist leaders across Europe, but they're more popular than him.
    • The Trump administration on Tuesday called for European countries to ditch the leadership of the United Nations and the European Union and instead to join the US in putting the interests of their own citizens first.
    • As Macron backpedals on his high-minded fuel tax without appeasing the protesters, it looks as if Trump is having the last laugh.

French President Emmanuel Macron stood at the Arc de Triomphe last month and rebuked President Donald Trump's "America First" policy at a ceremony marking the 100th anniversary of the end of World War I.

It was a move that, by all accounts, infuriated Trump."

    But wait there's more.

END OF MACRON: French MPs launch NO CONFIDENCE vote amid nationwide anger and riots

A failure of socialism in a country that the left holds up as a shining example of what America should become is a victory for Trump economics, for capitalism and for conservatives. On a personal level it's s victory for Trump whom this snowflake socialist recently disrespected.

Seriously? Its the left-wing who wants Macron out.

I am sure Trump considers riots in allied countries as 'victories', so why shouldn't you.

The left wants him out because he's such an embaressment. Truth is everyone wants him out because his socialist policies are such a failure.

The obvious truth is that the left-wing, who want him out, want France to be more socialist, not less.

There's a revolution going on in France with the support of 80% of the people, and it's against the one world order and the austerity on the poor to benefit the wealthy. Merkel's Germany is probably to blame for all this, look what they did to Greece so they could destroy and buy up the country. I said a while ago that the EU will break up in 2 years, well it's taking a little longer than that but it's getting there.

Macron had the audacity or rather stupidity to tell the people of France that they have no culture- which means they aren't defined by a culture, when they are probably the proudest people in the world. It's all for that one world order agenda.

What I did read is that the protesters have 30 demands on the government, and warned the people of France to stock up on food and medicine. On December 10th they are going to block all stores, government buildings, schools, etc.. The fear here is that terrorists are infiltrating the protests, so it might end up into a real war.

Anyway I'm just giving a vague outline of what's going on, since I'm not really that familiar with the problems or the agenda.

Well that's pretty stupid. They want a complete civil war? Riots aren't enough?

Do you don't think the carbon tax had any role in these riots?

I guess it was the last straw that broke the camels back. I don't know though, these riots might have been planned.

Certainly. The Left always doubles down on failure. Their policies are based on ideology, not experience.

Then why would they riot if they're getting some of those lovely socialist tax rates.

I don't think people realize how serious this is and how close to a war it may become.

Right now the only thing most Frenchman agree with is that Macron sucks, his party is about the only thing that represents him.

But the government of Macron is doubling down, by blaming Marine La Pen directly for the violence.

    https://news.sky.com/story/tear-gas-fired-at-furious-protesters-in-france-11561900

La Pen is going as far as to say to dissolve their lower house, what will Macron and his party do and say with his support plunging to its lowest ever?

If neither side budges, what is going to happen?

Same attitude the left has in this country toward conservatives verses illegal immigrants.

The police have been getting their asses kicked.

They'll be forced to decide soon if they'll use lethal force or not. It may be the only way to stop them.

Yeah I saw that ..... I would be PISSED if either party was doing this in the US. But at the same time, with this absolutely insane amount of people supporting the movement (73% of the US agreeing on anything is pretty much impossible) the way Macron reacted to their requests was absolutely pathetic.

A 6 month pause? Ha!!! Give me a break, it is no surprise they are this pissed off, he should step down before more violence ensues.

The French are giving no-skill, no French language "immigrants" 5 times more in government support than French pensioners.

    1776 time.

If we had a $7 tax on each liter of gas and that money was going to China..... if violent 3rd worlders were receiving 5 times the government assistance of our own citizens (and it's getting close....I think it's about 3 times as much in the US).....

    1776 time.

A 6 month pause is there to give them time to get the military on the streets, which they are probably going to do this weekend.

My understanding is that Macron was referring to isolationism. Trump doesn't care about any citizens unless they vote for him, and
all he cares about is their vote as his tariff debacle begins to eat into your pocketbook. You will note that Macron backed off, whereas
Trump just doubles down and never admits when he is wrong, a practical characteristic that he does not possess.

There is more prosperity under President Trump for all Americans than we have had in decades.
