This is very interesting to me. If you wanted to find out how so many animals were there, check this out. This is a built ship. There are plans to sail it to put it on display. Have you heard of it or seen it? Tell us all you can about this vessel. I learned was built in the Netherlands.

Do you think that boat could withstand being pelted with 6 inches of rain a minute for 57,600 minutes non-stop?

Funny how you zeroed in on my famous argument. No that is not what actually happened. We both know that.

He is spending 1.3 million dollars to sail the 2500 ton ship that cost him 5 million dollars to construct to Israel.

He says he believes a flood will happen during his lifetime. His wife, a cop was mocking him at first.

He has not been reading his Bible. I wouldn't be surprised if he was one of those deluded date setters the most famous example being William Miller.

That pic doesn't show the 21 steel barges on which that ark permenetly rests.

As "willreadmore" pointed out. It is a wooden superstructure built upon a steel hull. Great gimmick but about as much proof of concept as crazy kennie's ark museum.

There really is a Noah's Ark.

Yup....it's about a hundred miles from my house.

In fact my taxes paid for it.

That was a great concept but an utter failure at how they executed it.

I had high hopes for it.

You basically can tour it in half an hour then you are done, no other reason to really stick around or ever revisit it again.

More of an amusement park based on Christianity.

I've never been there but I've researched it a lot, even did a virtual tour and frankly its just a bore.

Its like the first time I visited the Grand Canyon....it was cool for like 10 seconds then I got hungry and left.

I just feel, as a Christian, that if you are building something to celebrate God that you should put a little more effort into it.

There is nothing wrong with Christians having fun you know, we can do rides and stuff, why just build a crappy museum that looks like a boat.

Yeah they have some other stuff but they really should have hired some people from Disney and done it right.

I've visited the web site being alternatively, stunned, outraged and amused.

Sorry your taxes had to pay, but it sounded like a good deal and Ol' Kennies' projections looked good and all. But why anyone could think millions of the faithful would flock to that outrageous temple of ignorance is beyond me.

There were plenty of big wooden ships that did just fine in the ocean.

I don't think they relied on hydraulic pumps.

Actually they did, they were manually operated.
That boat would take more than Noah's family, and 2 hamsters to operate.

Maybe they just slurped a bunch of water up in their mouths and spit it over the side.
