    https://lawandcrime.com/high-profil...dent-of-the-united-states-committed-a-felony/

This report confirms what many have known for a while -Trump committed a felony when he directed Michael Cohen to violate campaign finance law (and arguably bank fraud) in order to pay multiple women hush money. This is the first time that federal prosecutors have made that claim explicitly clear in court filings.

Keep in mind that this is probably one of many felonies committed by trump, but it is the first.

    The sharks and circling closer.

We absolutely knew all of this back in August... I don't see anything new in the SDNY sentencing memo on that topic, but you are correct it's the first time it's in a court filing.

Neal Katyal on MSNBC just said exactly the same thing...

Very unclear if that even violated campaign finance law, and even is so, so what? All campaigns do that, Obama was fined the largest fine in history at one point for violating campaign laws.

Trump is walking around with a stick of dynamite on his back, yet he keeps scratching it thinking it's just an itch...

Campaign finance laws denotes a group of laws, so your confusion is understandable (even tho it is intentional). But there is a difference between unknowingly violating portions of the law and knowingly violating portions of the law.

I wonder if Kelly knows something we, as of yet, do not.

If John Edwards wasn’t guilty for paying off his love child’s momma...trump has nothing to worry about. Quite a leap

John Edward faced a criminal trial that resulted in a hung jury.

I will be satisfied if the result of this charge is the same for trump.

You and I have never really agreed on anything -- but I will say this: if, indeed, Donald Trump has committed a crime, then appropriate charges should be brought and legal procedures should begin. These may be those that call for criminal prosecution, or they may be those that call for impeachment and removal from office. There are some things that a sitting president cannot be charged with, and it remains to be seen whether any of those may (or may not) apply in this case.

But you on the liberal Left should never doubt that "Law and Order" is a foundational axiom for those of us on the Conservative Right. If Trump has broken the law, and that is established with a conviction after the appropriate legal procedures, then he must be punished accordingly -- no mincing of words about it....

That's a neat story. Would be a shame if someone asked you to prove why a multi-millionaire attorney would plead guilty to a felony if he knew his violation was a misdemeanor.

How mad are you going to be when Trump isn't removed from office? I'm just curious. Not trying to be hateful toward you, just hoping you're being realistic.

Do you think he will be removed from office before 2020 or are you just throwing your hope and prayers on the notion he will be?

He know damned well how much hot water he is in but he will still keep up the denial garbage for the sake of his cult of a base which he knows will believe whatever the liar extraordinaire tells them to.

Why? Seems like a giant waste of money if you know you can’t get close to a crime

I'm trying to figure out where you think Trump is in such hot water. CNN, and MSNBC are all saying that Trump won't even be impeached by the House (Democrat controlled) concluding this investigation.

Do you have other evidence that the Left wing politicians don't have?

I read the title...some blogger concluded, federal prosecutors concluded...the reality is nothing of the sorts is in the memo. What we do know if the federal prosecutors couldn’t get Cohen to say what they wanted an now they are hanging him out to dry
