I put as much of the title in as I could. The pictures are stunning. Looks like Europe is burning. The people have had enough of the globalist elites and are taking to the streets.

Take note though, these protestors are not allowed to destroy like left wing protestors in the US. If/when the globalist liberals get into power in the US and implement their agenda they will not look the other way if folks protest. Macron should be removed from office or step down.

I can understand why they're protesting, but as soon as they start destroying property they need to be introduced to the working end of a night stick.

 

The French are very entitled. The slight majority couldn't have given a crap about the refugee crisis, they just assumed the government would keep providing for them as it did before, but when the inevitable came and it began hitting them in the wallet, suddenly all hell broke loose.

Similar mentality was on display in Greece during the Greek Debt crisis.

These fuel taxes are about more than just "helping the environment". The French are going to have to hike revenues to keep providing the same level of services to the population. Paris is now packed with homeless people, some of them now French because there are not enough places to live in the Paris region. And a lot of farmers in the countryside are barely making ends meet.

Also the liberal culture of bourgeoise French society takes a dim view of the farmers, seeing them as backwards, unenlightened, polluters, cruel to animals, etc.

 

European people don't want their cultures erased and replace with globalist PC culture. Imagine that.

Democrats would bring the same policies that their globalist allies in France brought to France to America if they thought they could get away with it. Don't believe their lies when they tell you they would never dream of a gas tax that drove people out of cars.

One can only hope that this is an early sign that Europe is about to take a serious and prolonged turn towards the right. It may well be that a straw is about to break the camel's back.

 

I guess Europeans respond negatively to having their statues torn down and their history erased and replaced with global socialist PC culture.

 

And nobody should be shocked or surprised. Cause and effect.

 

They try to tear down our statues in America in the name of racism but what they intend is to erase our identity.

 

Most of these French are just angry at declining living standards and the prospect of another tax.
Taxes are already quite high.

This isn't California, French citizens can't just flee to another state. (Well, they could theoretically, but it would be pretty difficult for them to learn German and they'd never make it in Germany with the discipline and work ethic that would be required of them)

 

Democrats on this thread have already claimed the French have it too good and that they are entitled. Globalist democrats see the French people and think the need to be brought down a notch And impose policies that do it. Democrats would love to see similar policies forced upon the American people.

 

Really don't get the point of destroying others property and trashing and disfigureing your own neighborhood or country, because you only wind up paying for what you destroy either through higher insurance premiums or taxes.Stupidity at it's zenith.

 

Democrats never ask that when there are riots in America. They even do things like pull the police back so the rioters can riot. Then they try to blame all the damage on white people in general.
