And once again you are incorrect, the right to bear firearms is not overvalued at all, if anything it is undervalued, while non-rights, such as abortion are way overvalued.

And a large part of this gross error can be blamed squarely on media and the culture of violence they perpetrate, the U.S. does not have a firearm problem, what we do have is an expanding subculture who has been generationally raised on the concept, the solution to any problem is violence, it is revered and promoted by media and those who put too much faith or belief in media, become poisoned by that programming and also fall into believing violence is a acceptable, actually a preferred method to solve ones problems.

The firearm them becomes the tool to providing that solution, remove firearms and a new tool will take it's place, the only way to solve the problem is to break the chain and demolish the belief that violence is an acceptable method of solving problems and then and only then will the rate of violent crimes fall dramatically.

Unfortunately too many in this country will not admit we have such a problem, and even fewer are studying and developing methods to solve the problem.
