The genius of President Trump

As far as I'm concerned, GOP leadership are RINO's - McConnell and Ryan and their seconds are big government, big spending, open borders liberals.

President Trump is the true conservative who wants less powerful, less costly, more efficient government. This "government shutdown" is his opportunity. As I understand it, here are the departments that will shut down:

• Department of the Treasury
• Department of Agriculture
• Homeland Security Department
• Department of the Interior
• Department of State
• Department of Housing and Urban Development
• Department of Transportation
• Department of Commerce
• Department of Justice

I see Homeland Security, Interior and HUD as departments that serve a useful purpose, I'd want to keep more or less intact.
I see a great opportunity to strike a blow against th deep state and big government if President Trump would cut down all of the remaining departments - especially State and Justice.

Could this be the Trump plan - get the Democrats to shut down the government, then have a massive layoff after it is recognized those departments add little to government services and efficiency - and he could blame most of the problem ofn the Democrats for allowing this to happen.

President Trump is a genius who leaves his detractors breathing the dust of his many victories.

 

Meanwhile, those in retirement loose billions in their 401K's, private businesses loose billions in government contract funds, and we are
one step closer to the next recession ...

There is no plan. A plan to reduce government would involve announcing reductions in government over a set period of time so people can plan for the repercussions. Morons screw employees over Christmas - and Trump is a true moron.

Trump is a moron, nothing more. He is driven by his colossal ego and a base of miscreants that feel they have been ignored and are destructively angry about it. They are vengeful and want to destroy the government and democracy that has treated them so badly. They too, are morons too lazy to think, much less get educated. Trump articulates their innermost thoughts of deep frustration and anger in language they can understand. Trump is their vengeful god throwing lightning bolts at a "deep state" that abuses and threatens them.

Trump and his base are completely ignorant of the world order that will ultimately destroy them. The global community and Trump's deep state aren't about to relinquish seventy years of liberal democratic progress to satisfy the low information cultists that cannot understand the reality of unintended consequences. The establishment (deep state) has power beyond their wildest understanding. The fact is, you don't change Washington or the world, it changes you. Trump's ham handed, ill advised actions have raised a colossal ire and anger among the establishment players and they are about to show him what vengeance is really like.

 

The words 'Trump' & 'plan' don't belong in the same sentence...or paragraph, or book for that matter. He doesn't have a clue what he is doing, just look at his farcical handling of something simple, like the Mattis affair. What the moron is good at is being a pathological liar and a con artist.....

 

And unfortunately, Trump is an American.

What are you blathering about? Everyone in the know states openly that the Feds seven rate increases over 21 months is the catalyst with the government shutdown having its own minor impact.

By the way, are you aware that the Fed kept the interest rates at zero for five years under Obama with only three rate increases over the span of his 8 year term and, even with Fed help, the Obama economy was the slowest to recover since the great depression.

 

Wow, how far can you reach to come up with some kind of smear that means absolutely nothing to this debate? Thank God President Trump is dealing with a bunch of self centered fools with no balls and little ability.

 

The 400,000 government employees who will not be receiving a pay check may differ with your assessment of Trumps political savvy. I assuming you are not a Federal Employee, you got yours so who cares about those who will not be receiving a midmonth pay. Typical Rightie

 

That was by design. Obama was pulling the US out a major recession...low cost money was warranted. The stock market nor did corporations suffer. Both had low steady GROWTH.

For all of Trumps trickle down magic....this economy is not far off Obama's numbers.

Trump said he needs consistent growth at 4 or 5% GDP for revenue to cover for his tax giveaway. Trump has not had GDP over 4% for any two consecutive quarters.

Lets also mention the Obama never claimed to be an economic genius and Trump does. Obama never made promises about the economy other that say he had a plan to get us out of the ditch.

Trump's economic experiment is failing and we have indicators out the wazoo proving so.

Taking a seven car caravan across the street to Blair House to meet with the Bush Family doesn’t seem very economically prudent to me. And that is only one example of his waste.

 

Blah, blah, blah ... Trump is handed the most stable economy in 25 years, and you find it amazing that it the economy is good. Simple truth is that the Yellen appointment as head of the Fed was a smarter move than Trump's moronic pick ... hell, even Trump doesn't like him. But that was TRUMP'S decision and you want to pretend that Trump is some innocent bystander. WTF. The buck never stops with Trump in your world, does it?

 

During the 8 years of Obama, the Market was so stagnant that the Fed was forced to maintain a ZERO % interest rate for 5 years - that's free money - with only three rate hikes bringing the total interest rate to 0.5% - that's 1/2 of one percent over an 8 year period - yet you call such an economy stable.

Can you come up with something original or can we expect more of the same, tired Democrat talking points that are little more than gross exaggerations.

 

Stagnant? Hell, dude. The Market rose an average of 12% per year over Obama's two terms. I'll take slow and steady any day over Trump's boom and bust market deal. But I think Obama made plenty of mistakes while he was in office - you're such a Trump FanBoy, you think the sun rises and sets with his bowel movements.
