More seriously, I just don't appreciate Islam and consider it as a problem. It's not the only one problem, neither muslims are the only one showing religious problems, but among religion, it's nowodays the most troublesome, we can quote too : south american cartels and organized crimes which is for me maybe a problem even bigger than Islam, big companies corruption government and encouraging short sighted profit against human life interest and so on.

 

But now the school children know...arent they lucky....

If you are going to teach one religion in schools then you have to teach them all.

If you want teach all, then you can teach only none, I have no problems with that. There is thousand and thousand religions on that earth. Why to teach about Islam and not to teach about confucianism, traditionnal african religions, traditionnal southern american religion, hinduism, buddhism, traditionnal asian religion, mazdeism, sikhism and so on.

In a way, judaism, christianity and islam are just three major sects of the same religion : abrahamic monotheism.

What's the problem?
If we taught religion is schools and I mean ALL religion then the kids could make up their own minds if any of them suited them or if they were all obvious nonsense.
One day teach Christianity Judaism and Islam, the next Pastafarianism, Shinto and Neo-Paganism.
Then there can be no accusations of indoctrination.
Of course the kids may choose the #3 and fastest growing 'religion' of all, that is nonreligious, so it will never happen.
