Climbed up on the addition to the old house and pulled off more siding. I stood on the roof of the addition. Put some quarter inch plywood to stand on....two pieces...one on top of the other....because the old roof looked unsafe. Woke up with a backache. Took the day off and the rain set in. Will finish pulling off the rest of the siding later. I am going to drop the ceiling to the addition soon. Got some good roof joists and 4 bys there. The guy I have been working with is gone and I think I am going to pull the rest of it down myself. The guy bought my old truck and owes me a hundred dollars. I hope that isnt what is keeping him away because I have already got my monies worth and could use some help....besides I have just exposed the money wood and promised the owner I wouldnt quit till the job is done. Still got some basement windows to get. They are next.

Interesting Turntable.I'm somewhat an expert on Stereo stuff.
Can't quite place that Turntable,however.
Somewhat similar to the Pro-Ject classic.But with an s-type tonearm.
Just got my Music Direct order of LP's I called-in on Monday.
Usually takes a day or two.This time they sent it U.S. Postal service.
Meaning 5 days.But it's free shipping over orders of $ 49 bucks.
Barnes & Noble has LP's in their stores the last 6 or so years.
Some good finds.But there's state tax.That's 6 %.It adds up.

Germany makes very good turntables { Clearaudio }
and Hi-fi equipment.A bit on the expensive side.
There anti-skating device { hard to see } is the thingy of
skinny line { as Fishing line } attached to a small weight which keep
the tonearm tracking in the grooves.Because Centrifical force plays a
factor in spinning records.Back when I built a Heathkit Amp and their
speakers,the turntables of the day had No Anti-skating.Mainly because
the Phono cartridges were much heavier and tracking force was 2-3 times
today's average.Today's Phono cartridges track around 1.5 - 2.5 grams.
In the 60's the tracking force could have been 4 or 5 grams.
My Dad let me have his Garrard Turntable.I also had one of the
first AR { belt drive } turntables.They weren't expensive, were lightweight
and worked really well.
Today's state-of-the-art turntables are gastly heavy and expensive.
The heavier a turntable,usually the better the effect { performance }.
My Brother has around $ 40,ooo invested in a Turntable { $ 20,ooo }
Tonearm { around $ 10,ooo } and Cartridge { Clearaudio Titanium V2 } $ 9,000.
I have 2 hi-fi's.My bedroom is the expensive one and my Living Room is
the one I prize most and use most.Because for the money it has unbeatable
sound.I still use my 90's 100 watt Integrated amp but have fine tuned
everything to perfection.Custom bookshelf speakers and nice REL subwoofer.
New lower prized Techinics SL-1200 GR turntable which was difficult to
buy because dealers were very hard to find and kinda being stingy with.
Plus the Hurricane in Florida { summer of 2017 } was were the New technics
turntable were shipped from Japan.Instead the West coast.
High quality Interconnects and 3 cartridges to choose from.With a
Ortofon carbon-fiber headshell.Speaker placement is critical.
