Don't Tell Me "They" Are Not After My Guns!

They want them and they want them sooner rather than later!

 

If I read it right you could add a dozen long guns and a dozen pistols to your collection in one year. Yeah, they're really after our guns.

 

Some of that is 'hostage negotiation' -something to 'give up' to the opposition. I-1639 recently passed in WA, originally contained language that would track and annually tax all semi-autos. The bill passed with 'only' an increased minimum age of purchase, HIPPA erosion and vague/unenforcible requirements for weapons storage.

 

So if they aren't after my guns why am I limited on how many I can purchase?

If you are an illegal you can have as many as you like, even shoot someone dead with them and they will just shrug it off.

As you are buying all these guns in California they are all "on the record". They will know right where to show up when they want to collect all the guns.

There isn't supposed to be a record (outside of the gun store), but I suspect I already am.

I will be getting my federal firearms license again as well.

In a few months, Californians will have to go through a backround check to purchase ammo, and surprise, pay a tax.

Its about disarming the law abiding and I wont be pressured down that road.

 

Bloombergs group writes these bills and introduces them wherever he finds a sympathetic legislator. Most often they never make it past the first day but...
Over the past few years the Supreme Court has not taken a lot of interest in gun cases but we now have a new court and things will hopefully turn around. Few if Bloombergs wishes are practical so hanging in there and contribute heavily to your states pro gun groups and ignore the ignorant comments here from leftie trolls as they pop up whenever the gun issue comes up. I suspect the vast bulk of them will claim to be gun owners but in reality they are scared shitless of them.

 

Learn to load your own ammo. You will save a trainload of money, gain independence from the government, and get better results at the range. It's easy and a no brainer.

 

That 5 bullet limitation would make almost every handgun out there illegal.

 

And with that 20 round limit in a 30 day period a person could reload once a week.
