A growing body of evidence suggests that British weapons inspector didn't commit suicide, but was assassinated. The latest is the Daily Mail article below. In many respects this is not new evidence but old evidence regurgitated - the injuries on Kelly's wrist were always wrong and one surgeon has previously commented that they could not have caused his death.

That was suspicious from the start, for sure. Let's have a proper inquest.

Ridiculous, he died by his own hand as he had ruined his career by betraying secrets, people just want to smear Tony Blair.

This should be in the Conspiracy Theory section of the forum.

Yes, an inquest should've been automatic under the law (any suspicious death) but Blair stymied it within an hour of news breaking of his death -- and now any new UK government - by convention - won't change that sadly.

For someone to commit suicide successfully they need to slit their wrists along the artery long ways and not across them in order to cause death by exsanguination. The trauma surgeon, David Halpin, who worked with the Kelly Investigation Group (I was also a member of it but had to resign due to pressure of work) made this very clear in his presentation - and several other surgeons confirmed this (HERE).

It seems we have a small number of people on this forum who's closed minds and group-think regularly demand that some important matters be typified as a conspiracy theory and shoved into a backwater to be ignored.

Anyone with a functioning brain understands that conspiracy is a daily event of human life - not that unusual or weird as portrayed. The term is even imbued in British criminal law. During my life I've been present when a number of conspiracies were being hatched.

Try to have an open mind and review the evidence if you wish. Don't if you don't. But if you can't be bothered to be informed then butt out.

Tony Blair deserves smearing. Indeed, he deserves a prison sentence.

It's impossible to smear Tony Blair, he's a war criminal, jointly responsible for thousands of deaths and the destabilisation of the Middle East.

15 years ago makes it historical data not facts, trying to establish facts at this late date nigh on impossible.

Absolutely he deserves a prison sentence as a war criminal. And many people tried here in the UK too, including the families of British soldiers killed in Afghanistan and Iraq. They were crowd funded to seek a private prosecution once it became evident the government wouldn't proceed with one (no government will allow that as they feat that they might, one day, be held accountable in that same way too). But this private prosecution wasn't ultimately viable (the lawyers - who got handsomely paid for looking into that did well out of the whole thing though...).

I distinctly remember the tv news report when Blair was informed of the incident while on a plane to somewhere - he didn't look surprised, he actually looked scared, and that look spoke volumes to me at the time.

Nonsense. So long as the key individuals are alive then establishing the facts are entirely possible. The real problem is that there is still no will to launch the legally required inquest.

Yep, I remember that. Were one truly cynical one might conclude that he made sure he was far away when the dirty deed was done...

I also remember watching his presentation at the Leveson inquiry and he was sh*tting a brick out the outset. But once he realised no hard or penetrating questions were being asked of him, he understood it was all a sham and his trademark smirk soon manifested.

    Sshhh Cerb!

The British government and the British military do not do assassinations. It's simply not British. No matter what Sergeant Danny Nightingale, formerly of the SAS, might say about it.

Blair and Bush both knew that there were no weapons of mass destruction......Blair said he would have invaded Iraq even without evidence of weapons of mass destruction and would have found a way to justify the war to parliament and the public.

All part of the traitor Bush death count:
    Total violent deaths including combatants
    288,000

    https://www.iraqbodycount.org/

Bush should have gone on trial for treason. Today he should be charged with murder for all those people since there is no statute of limitations for that crime.

Of course it isn't, SH, hush my mouth! We've always got to be seen as whiter than white? Every man on the planet and his dog knows that only Russia 'does' assassinations; remember the pics of those two Russians 'skulking and smirking' in the streets of Salisbury? :roflol:I mean who with an IQ into double figures would have fallen for that one - and still believe it. :wall:

That's why he should have been charged as a war criminal imo.

That's the problem Cerb... millions of people do actually believe it (which says little for their IQ I agree) because they still rely on our wonderful manipulators in the media to inform them accurately and tell them the truth - whereas you and I and a great many others know for certain, that's the last thing they are interested in doing.

Wonder if his house has been demolished yet? I'd have paid more for it than the cost of demolition - a bit of Novichok up there in the attic wouldn't've bothered yours truly - I'm made of sterner stuff!

Bush and Company actually were tried and convicted back in 2014 in Malaysia, in accordance with international procedures, for war crimes.
