    Well, that was my first thought when I saw this article about Trump serving Hamburgers and Pusza at a dinner at the White House

    In all seriousness though my heart goes out to those White House Staff who have been furloughed and are not being paid. They would probably have liked even one of the burgers in lieu of being ignored

    So, I have seen a lot of people giving their opinion on what was served, but yet to hear from anyone that was actually there. Did the team think it was great? I mean seriously, these boys probably loved it that they could gorge on their favorite food and that its in line with what the POTUS loves too. You leftist love to be offended on other people's behalf you know.

    I would be outraged too if someone suggested that Burgers and Pizza were the national cuisine :cynic:

    It's not the unhealthy part, but the cheapness and how horrible it must have tasted. Burgers that were delivered in bulk by Burger King--gag me. They are ok when hot, but after a delivery? The pizzas were probably ok. Trump should have ordered Chik-Fil-A.

    The entire thing was TACKY!

    Are there no places in DC will to do a catering job at the Whitehouse? They could have prepared decent food and then brought it over in containers and served it to the guests.

    The BLOTUS just CHEAP and has no respect for others.

    I doubt those McD products served in the WH were the same as what you'd get going through a drive through. Would wager there were prep people on site to make sure they were as perfect as such could be. I love Chik Fil A too. Who knows what kind of pro American deal Trump is negotiating with McD in exchange for this product placement?

    LOL, the players are young men, not to far removed from their Happy Meals days and what young person doesn't like some fast food now and again. One player reportedly did mention the team's nutritionist "must be having a fit" :D. They're youngsters and the team likely frowns on this kind of food during the season but, the season is over and they won, bigly - I say let 'em enjoy. Where else can one eat Big Macs & Whoppers on fine china, served off silver platters.

    As for Trump, he just can't get through a simple event without lying and/or taking all the credit. First, he said there were 300 "hamberders"....sometime later he mentioned there were over 1,000 "hamberders" and Trump announces he paid for it all himself - what a guy. I'm assuming the older folks in the room had "hamberders & covfefe".....:p
