If President Trump builds a Wall, I hope it's to stop this Damn! National Debt from advancing. According to right now were screaming towards $22 Trillion any day now. 6 more years of Donald Trump we'll be at $30 Trillion with the Deficits our Government is currently running. Sure! bring on the Blame game that it's Barack Obama's fault, but Reagan Tripled the National Debt and GW Bush doubled it, so Republicans are just as guilty of spending like Drunken sailors as anyone.

Here's the handy link to take a quick peak, ENJOY!

Just for you Math Impaired, it takes a Thousand Millions to make a Billion and a Thousand Billions to make a Trillion, so if you had a semi truck loaded with a Billion dollars on it, there'd be almost 22 thousand of them lined up:applause:

Right! when it's their guy that's running up the National Debt, it's perfectly fine and they don't even bat an eyelash, but when it's a Democrat in the White House it's all they want to talk about, DAMN! HYPOCRITES.

And so which programs would you cut to help?? For me, the first on the reform chopping block would be welfare, not just for the cost in dollars, but the toll it takes on ambition, work ethic, and personal responsibility. Cleaning up redundancy would be right up there for reform too.

People like to complain about the debt, but rarely want to cut anything to fix it. B*tching about which party is in power really doesn't help anything.

And it wasn't really Obama's doing during his years; the Federal Reserve bought up all of that toxic debt from the deregulated W years and their resulting financial crisis. The only response we get from the alleged conservatives who now support MAGA's foolery is that Obama (and so, W as well, since the policy began with him) should have let those "too big to fail" businesses fail. Obama was taking the deficit in the right direction in spite of that disaster. The numbers do not lie:

    No kidding.

To the GOP, the "Deficit" only matters when Dems are in power.

Sure, axe corporate welfare. But harming the little people when most of the nation's wealth is held by just a few Americans would be unspeakably cruel and stupid.

You did that in your head, didn't you? Its good to see libs take a sudden interest in responsibility. It seems that both sides like to talk about it until they get elected!

We had responsibility during the Obama years, and we consistently get irresponsible tax cutting and deficit spending under Republican presidents.

Oh! I've never stopped complaining about it, but when Barack Obama was elected the Deficit was $1.4 trillion and he reduced it down to $600 billion, Still bad but that's a reduction of $800 billion.

From what I have seen from the Trump Administration's out of control spending:

I think Trump is going to wait until the INTEREST in the National Debt is 22 Trillion.

That is false. Spending more than we take in is irresponsible. Increasing the tax burden only rewards irresponsibility.

I'm right there with you Lefties on this one. Let's cut the military 30%... then privatize SS and Medicare, send the entire welfare state back to the states :) Then we can dismantle DOE, DOC, CIA, and about 10 other duplicative agencies and associated MOUNTAINS of graft regulations bought and paid for by large corporate cronies to stifle competition. There goes over half the federal budget in one fell swoop. Yay Us!

Sound good? No? Then **** about spending. Democrat policies, SS, Medicare, Medicaid, Welfare State, and a bloated, corrupt defense-govcontractor portion of the rotten Complex DID THAT. Those things, not discretionary spending, are the reason we are running greater and greater deficits. GET HONEST.

Don't even begin to pretend that if Trump or any other GOP started initiatives to meaningfully reform any of the above other than defense, you'd all howl like the flat out hypocrites you in fact are, complete with starving senior lie narratives, old people dying in the street lie narratives, lies about "taking your medicare" horseshit BLASTED all over YOUR Democrat-LW MSM 100s of times a day. Don't bother lying and denying it.

Get used to massive deficits LW-Democrats, that's ALL on YOU.

When Barack Obama was elected, didn't he put those two unfunded Wars in Iraq and Afghanistan GW Bush started on the books like they should have been and it instantly added like $3 Trillion to the National Debt, so he started his Presidency going backwards, before he even started moving. Barack Obama inherited a Mess, compared to what Donald Trump inherited

    Re: Reagan's spending.
President Reagan actually had something to show for his spending...the Reagan military and winning the Cold War.

    Re: Obama's spending.
All Obama has to show for his spending was "Cash for Clunkers," no shovel ready jobs and the longest recovery of the economy in history.

the debt increases because of the ineptitude and stupidity of Republican Trump - let's have all forum right wingers demonstrate some integrity and admit that this is true

The reduction needs to come from spending cuts.

My fear about privatizing Social Security is all these Wall Street Banksters shaving off 30% right off the top if that was to happen, before anybody got their Money. These guys are just salivating to see that happend.

Isn't that where he got a big part of the Deficit reduction. Spending Cuts? At least the Debt was heading in the right direction, which was down.
