You could just go the the BLS directly if you want and get confirmation of the same: https://data.bls.gov/timeseries/lns14000000

Thanks I recall the double digit unemployment under Obama and years of a dem congress. Nice to see the tread change when the GOP took Congress and continued even better under a trump WH

Someone hasn't actually looked at the graph, which shows the same basic trend decline from 2010 to present. That's good to know.

He posted a graph that came directly from BLS data. I showed you graph from BLS that showed exactly the same time. You argument crashed and burned. No use scrounging for survivors.

I just said I can see a change when the GOP took Congress...that started in 2010

I have not seen any data proving they are accurate.

Pretty sure Dems had the majority of both the House and the Senate for the 111th Congress -- 2009 to 2011.

Yes, they are: the BLS. But keep pretending if that's what it takes to ignore the truth and preserve your political biases.

The GOP took the House in the midterms...I agree the Dems has total control 09-10 when the BLS states double digit unemployment. Horrible numbers that peaked after 4 years of a dem congress

You know I posted graphs sourced from the bls. Since you can not refute their data, I accept your concession.

No you didn’t...I literally clicked on your first graph and it took me to a left wing think tank

The GOP won elections in the 2010 midterms. They didn't actually take power until 2011. They weren't sworn in until then. Dems had control 09-11. Even then, the downward trend in 2010 started before the midterms. Sorry, your math/timeline is still off.

First the downward trend in unemployment started (starting April 2010)
Then the GOP won the midterms (November 2010).
Then the GOP majority took office (January 2011).

Some time after they took office, after January 2011, they could have passed legislation that helped unemployment, but your theory that their policy somehow time travelled and caused the early 2010 decline in unemployment is pure superstition.

More importantly, none of that has anything to do with Trump, who inherited a downward trend in unemployment and at best can be "credited" with not screwing it up.

You of course know they are from the BLS, as it is clearly written in plan English right on the graphs. Since you can not refute the data, your concession is accepted.
