The difference between a lair and a fool is that the liar knows that they are lying; the fool believes the lie. Liars most often make fools of themselves.

To be a liar, one must not only remember their lie, they must also remember that they are lying.
That's not easy to do, and that's why we have so many more fools in the world than liars.

Liars most often make fools out of themselves because of how very little we remember. We remember a vanishingly insignificant percentage of all of the thoughts, and feelings, and choices, out of every hour of every day of our lives, but we have to remember our lies. Consequently, the longer one remembers a lie, the more often one retells a lie, the more adamantly one defends a lie, the more likely that one is to forget the truth and have the lie supplant the memory. At the very moment the liar forgets that he is lying, he stops being a liar and becomes a fool.

Laying bricks is not easy. Really tough on the sphincter, especially the corners.

    I disagree.

A good liar will convince himself that the lie is reality and therefore it becomes a part of him which allows him to never forget about it.

That is the key to good lying, believing that it is the truth.

It similar to how the best actors don't just pretend to be someone else, they actually turn themselves into that character and when they are in front of the camera they are that person for a period of time.

This is a well used trick to beat lie detectors also.

Probably the most accomplished or at least prolific liar of our time is Trump and I think you would have a very hard time applying the above criteria to him.

Is that how you explain Elizabeth Warren and many of her fellow democrats?
One name for you: Elizabeth Warren.

If he was a good liar you wouldn't even know about it.

He is not a good liar.

Let me know when she even gets close to Trump's over eight thousand documented falsehoods.

Just look at her recorded and past claims. She is there, whether you want to admit it or not.

Lets see if you can admit reality. Every time she opens her mouth she lies, then doubles don on her lies.

If you can't admit this then I feel sorry for you and doubt your cognitive thinking ability.

Agree on Pelosi but AOC is actually both. She know that she is lying but believes her own words since they come out of her mouth.

Racism is not a lie; it is a folly.
Whether one attributes to race, or racism, that which is not attributable to race, or racism, that one is a racist none the less.

Socialism is not a lie; it is a folly.
Socialists are left to sincerely believe that everyone can live at the expense of everyone else.

Fools are sincere; they are sincerely wrong. However, not all insincerities are lies; in fact, not all deceptions are lies. A lie is an attempt to deceive for malicious or selfish motives.

Well since you apparently can list any of them I guess I will just have to live in the real world and leave the fictional reality to you.

You do realize that this "real world" you claim to live in is a fiction (lie) of your own creation, right?

BTW, you have just disproved the main claim of this thread. Lying is apparently very eeasy for those who wish to deny the truth.

You still haven't been able to list even ten lies. Should be really easy since you claim she has exceeded Trump 8,000 plus lies.

Lie detectors are just stress detectors. Believing a lie certainly helps to beat the lie detector, but so does simply believing you can beat the lie detector.

Or putting a small tack in your shoe and using the pain to offset the detectors baseline. That works too.

Lie detectors are lie detectors. They are not fool detectors. They detect insincerity not inaccuracy.

No, they detect changes in pulse, blood pressure, temperature and muscle tension. Stress. Innacuracy and insincerity are merely thoughts and cannot by detected by any objective means. Only the physical symptoms they tend to illicit can be measured, which can be overcome with practice, drowned by other stimuli or negated with confidence.

Thats why lie detectors are not compulsory in due process nor are their results admissable in court. Not only can they be defeated, but they too often read false positives in worried or stressed subjects.

Merely suspecting that the lie detector may malfunction can cause it to malfunction by the very nature of its methodology. It cannot objectively differentiate between the stress associated with being worried about getting caught in a lie and the stress associated with being worried about being falsely accused of a lie.

I would never submit to a lie detector in any official capacity.

In case you hadn't not3ed it, I haven't tried to disprove your lie. You will never accept that your bias and lies are wrong, so why should I attempt it?

Which lie was that? Are you talking about my claim that Trump has exceeded 8,000 lies since taking office. But I will be fair and agree that probably half the time he was too stupid to know he was lying so they technically weren't lies. So now out of the goodness of my heart all you have to do is post 4001 lies from Elizabeth Warren.

    Go for it!
