    If they are children what do you need to choose for. When they become adults move them to adult facilities.

    I'm pro choice, but not for the reasons you may think. But i'd be more comfortable defending a completely innocent baby from death rather than a guilty person who is no longer innocent, and this applies to everyone of all ages, genders, religions, etc.

    Save me the race stuff, this is about publicly making an example out of irredeemable shits who have made it clear they dont want to offer the world anything else than suffering. And besides that lynching was done my mobs of random citizens acting on suspicion alone. For the most part courts didn't have much involvement (unless you wanna use the old west as an example). So no, hanging a criminal is not gonna somehow be racist against black people by virtue of being a hanging alone. Though i do appreciate the connotations some folks would make with it. But my idea of public executions just isint like that.

    Juries are not going to execute a 12, 14, 16yr old, so they will be locked up. So you think it is ok to lock up a 12yr old with grown men to be subjected to all kinds of abuse.

    But neither do I want to inflict them on less violent juvenile offenders

    Chicago is an extremely dangerous and violent city. Do you need Uniform Crime Report statistics from the FBI? Happy to cite.

    Just because you personally have never seen a gun in Chicago...doesn't mean anything. Do you know how many gun deaths are committed in that city monthly? Yearly?

    Seems odd for such a safe city as you are making it seem to be. Coincidentally...it has some of the strictest gun laws in the nation.

    Happy to cite those laws too.

    I certainly did. Aren't I a nice guy? I figured you'd tell me to go look it up myself, so I just posted it anyway. So, now you're wondering why. "WTF is this fool talking about," you're asking yourself. Chicago is a deadly and violent city...for some. If you're not part of that group that's doing the killing and getting killed, you're not likely to have much to worry about. Like the man said, "Just stay out of the bad neighborhoods." That's all.

    Back in the ‘70s a Congressman from Illinois wrote a book by the name ‘They Dare to Speak Out’ about the AIPAC/Israeli lobby. A great read. Apparently, he wasn’t quite pro-Israel enough.......so the lobby ran a candidate against him who received tons of campaign contributions from individuals.......not from Illinois, but New York and Los Angeles. It’s the one special interest group politicians can’t go against........the Somali Congresscritter learned her lesson today.......

    Just because you can't see it doesn't mean it isn't inherent in your language. Looking at the crime committed in terms of race is where this all started. It wasn't a racially motivated crime, so bringing race into the equation, and following with all those racial stereotypes posters are using makes those comments racist.

    But speaking out against an Israeli policy is not the same as anti-Semitism. If she said anything specifically anti-Semitic, I'm not aware of it.
