Blackpink is the most popular girl group among guys, but internationally, Twice is the biggest K-Pop girl group. Too bubblegum for me, but I love Sana.

lounge singers was/is kool, but today's style they play too loudly for comfort, it'd be ok at a concert hall/venue, but some of these small venues have the volume cranked up waaaay too far for comfort... it's like listening to that moron in their chevy, talking on the phone through the cars sounds system... distortion to the max...

 

In popular music in the West? Not since the 1990s, I don't think. If you want some vocal skill out of Korea, check out Mamamoo. This isn't my favorite song, but it shows off their enormous talent...

you're just old, me as well... the world has passed us by, music evolves old people's tastes generally don't...my parents said the same thing about the music I liked...and my kids will most probably say the same about my grand kids taste in music, and so it goes...

I saw blackpink on colbert, quite bland imo...but what do i know...

 

I like Journey, and I like a lot of 80s music. However, it would be a lie if I said I understood all the words! But I haven't liked any popular song since 1990, until now with K-Pop girl groups.

This is 20 minutes long, but he gets to the point pretty quickly...

 

loud was okay when I was young and dancing but loud at concert I don't need...the right volume for the venue...

One of the best concerts, nay, the very best concert was Neil Diamond. He sang this song at the concert. But he really commands the stage too.

 

Blackpink's lead vocalist has the same face as this figure skater. Some Korean girls are pretty enough to be accepted internationally.
