You understand that we can all read a graph right? And that the graph completely refutes your position?

No... that isn't "coming back". You are just moving the goal posts to serve your argument.

Coming back means.... ready? Coming back. The fact that that line is climbing means, in fact, that yes they are coming back.

    Nice try though.

I bought a house with a down payment earned under the 2nd Bush administration during the first Obama administration. With wages flat and hiring nill I was barely able to make my mortgage payments and was laid off from 4 different jobs. Within months of Trump entering office I got a job making 4 times more than I ever made in my life and as of November of 2018 I paid off my house 22 years early.

Obama stagnated my life for 8 years. Trump has shot it into orbit.

Over all Obama's mean GDP growth was about 1.8% over all 8 years. Trump is at about 2.8% mean GDP growth.

Ya gotta love pundit forecasts........Hillary wins in a landslide.

Weren't you lucky then that Obama prevented your conservative friends from cutting your unemployment benefits?

I don't know, if I were you, I'd be careful who you associate with. Because people like you who buy houses they can't afford at the height of a bubble, and then lose their job 4 times are usually called irresponsible, unskilled and lazy by your conservative friends. They would have told you to get off your behind and better yourself.

Maybe they were right, because looking to a politician to make your life better doesn't seem to be the conservative attitude. It is, however, the attitude of many Trump fans.

I respect you as a poster, Pollycy. I just don't know how someone as intelligent as you can keep falling for the tax cut game that the GOP has been playing now for the third time in my lifetime. It should be clear by now that IT DOESN'T WORK.

This time, actually, the CEOs even told Trump beforehand that they would do stock buybacks instead of raising wages or investing in innovation. Nobody wanted to listen.

And, no, the excuse of already blaming the Dems for an imaginary tax hike in 2020 for the tax cuts not working is just that, a lame excuse.

That's a typical Trumper response. Ask a question then don't like the answer so try to ignore it and change the subject.
Pick any of your numbers and subtract it from 2.9% and it's still nothing. :)
Trump's policies are always going to work "soon."
But seriously it must be hard to keep wages down when we have full employment.

Come back to reality. Your post is full of speculation that you'd like to see. Try not to be too disappointed.

Don't put too much stock in that GDP tracker. The numbers fluctuate all over the place. Trump supporters have made that mistake more than once on PF.

I never collected unemployment. Everyone was getting laid off under Obama. That would be the almost 10% unemployment rate we had to deal with.
