Is it any worse? Get into college because of your skin color or gender vs paying the college to accept you? It sucks both ways. The difference is one is completely legal and the other is fishy or completely illegal. BOTH WRONG!!!!

And by the way, being wealthy isn’t a white thing. It’s a money thing. Loads of extremely wealthy minorities.

Whether they knew or not, they should be expelled immediately. They can reapply at their leisure. Their parents can figure out a way to help them cheat to get in someplace else. :)

And all the admissions staff, FIRED immediately. None of them should be able to work for any educational institution again.

Are in no doubt, huh? Maybe you can link up those that are Conservatives. Since you think there is no doubt. Despite Singer the scam artist being a leftist. Oh and the Universities being Liberal Indoctrination centers. Like USC, Stanford. Lane Tech. Etc etc etc.

There is more to than just talking a good game. Maybe you can impress us with more than just talk.

Whatever it is, I'd bet it would be less if they were admitted on merit alone, so I doubt you really want to go there.

How many were denied getting into college because of their skin color? Was AA created? It's about more than just money.

I'm assuming you're asking about the white skin colors that were denied so the quota of AA applicants could get it?

If you don't pay application fees it's due to low income not race. I think the criteria is pretty stringent, so most black parents would have paid application fees.

A low income black female who was accepted into an elite college would have needed excellent grades, scores, extra curricular activities, etc. She would have worked for those achievements. That's not the same as just having parents use their money to pay your way into admissions.

Not just wealthy people and the rich kids. A lot of these limited leftists would actually have to step into the big bad crushing world and get a job. You know where their feelings would be hurt daily.

So you are for getting rid of AA, so white women do not benefit?

I think AA has run it's course and is no longer needed. Women, minorities, blacks should all get in by the same standards.

What I don't understand about this, is that the parents paid all this money to get the kid into the college, but what about the class grades once they were already in? If the kid couldn't meet the standards to get in, what happens when they would fail the classes?

LMAO speaking of Asians. They also busted a California based Education Fraud ring. Over Asians learning English. Maybe Jack can tell us about the Conservatives that run Education in California are involved.

Feds bust student visa fraud ring that paid imposters to take English test.....

Federal authorities announced the breakup Tuesday of a California-based immigration fraud ring that allowed Chinese exchange students who couldn’t pass English-language requirements to pay imposters to step in and take the tests for them.

Using fake Chinese passports, the imposters would stand in for the would-be students, passing the Test of English as a Foreign Language — a prerequisite for many schools before they’ll offer a foreign student admission, and therefore before they’re eligible for a student visa.

Prosecutors say six people were involved in the fraud scheme, taking at least 19 exams on behalf of others.
Liu Cai, the alleged organizer, paid his fraudsters $400 per test, prosecutors said......snip~

    You didn't answer the question.

It's 2019, no more AA. Admissions should be based on merit alone, not based on your ethnicity, skin color, gender, or how much bribery your parents can pay. Merit is what it should be based on.

And more can be added, huh?

Huffman.and Loughlin charges shatter actresses' clean images....

On Wednesday, both actresses had their reputations shattered as they were charged with fraud and conspiracy Tuesday along with dozens of others in a scheme that according to federal prosecutors saw wealthy parents pay bribes to get their children into some of the nation's top colleges.

Huffman, 56, was released Tuesday posting a $250,000 bond. Loughlin, 54, has not yet been arrested but her husband, fashion designer Mossimo Giannulli, was released after posting a $1 million bond. Giannulli, whose Mossimo clothing had long been a Target brand until recently, left without answering reporters' questions.

Authorities have not said why Macy, who has starred for the last several years in the Showtime series "Shameless" and was an Oscar nominee for the 1996 movie "Fargo," has not been charged. He sat in the courtroom where Huffman had her first appearance and appeared to read legal documents during the proceedings. Huffman, who wore glasses and her hair in a ponytail, looked over at her husband repeatedly during the hearing......snip~

TV stars and coaches charged in college bribery scheme

The coaches worked at such schools as Yale, Stanford, Georgetown, Wake Forest, the University of Texas, the University of Southern California and the University of California, Los Angeles. A former Yale soccer coach pleaded guilty and helped build the case against others.

Among the parents charged were Gordon Caplan of Greenwich, Connecticut, a co-chairman of an international law firm based in New York; Jane Buckingham, CEO of a boutique marketing company in Los Angeles; Gregory Abbott of New York, founder and chairman of a packaging company; and Manuel Henriquez, CEO of a finance company based in Palo Alto, California.

The bribes allegedly were dispensed through an admissions consulting company in Newport Beach, California. Authorities said parents paid William Singer, the founder of the Edge College & Career Network, the bribe money to get their children into college.

Colleges moved quickly to discipline the coaches accused. Stanford fired Vandemoer, UCLA suspended its soccer coach, and Wake Forest did the same with its volleyball coach.

Several schools, including USC and Yale, said they were victims themselves of the scam. USC also said it is reviewing its admissions process to prevent further such abuses......snip~

Imagine that. Yale and USC jump out and claim victim status. Oh and note those parents. But they are Conservatives, huh? Newport Beach is where singer was out of. But that's a Conservative too.:roflol:

Insidious privilege is seen as an entitlement by the wealthy.

The more savvy donate buildings to universities to insure their spawn is accepted.

Convicted felon Charles Kushner pledged a legal $2.5 million donation to Harvard in 1998. It wasn't long after that Jared was accepted to the prestigious school.

The wrestling team entrée had apparently failed.
