There would be deafening silence on these matters if Black People, would develop predominantly Black Communities of their own using the nearly $3 Trillion they continually invest in the businesses owned by those who hate them.

We can be the Victim, or we can be the Avenger. Black People, are going to have make a decision about which role they want to play. The most shocking thing that Black People will find here is that the decision is and always has been all ours. Nobody else makes that decision for us.

Used intelligently, just a mere fraction of that kind of working capital would utterly transform the entire landscape of America in just 50 short years or less. But, we'd rather March. We could police our own communities all with the most modern architecture available. We could have the most modern Universities on the planet offering the best education on the planet and then make the decisions about who gains entry to those Universities, Colleges and Trade Schools.

We could build Space XY and Z. We could literally provide the world with access to Space, using technology we develop, we patent and we control. How is that possible? You'd be surprised at just how many Black Scientists and Engineers there are who have had the vision (but not solely the capital) to do exactly what Elon Musk, is doing today. Elon, is not the first private individual to have the idea or vision for RLV technology and making access to space routine. I wrote about it on a forum back 1997. I wrote specifically how it could be done, why it should be done and how it could revolutionize the way NASA did business back then. That was 1997.

My cousin, was one of the Lead Integration Engineers who worked on the YF-23 before it became the F-22 Raptor. We both earned degrees from the same Aeronautical University in Florida. We both had visions for making space readily accessible and providing satellite launch services to industry. We were talking about those things many years ago. Yet, Elon, gets the funding. It is not that he's smarter. It was that he belong to a supportive fabric that sees his ideas as being valid and that sees him as being capable. A Space Launch company? Tip if the iceberg.

Black People, you frighten me. The White Man does not scare me, but you tragically paralyzed and emotionally trapped Black People, scare the crap out of me. We should be building and developing successful Industry from here to Africa, but no - you scary Black People, would rather live in communities and attend colleges where others HATE you to death - literally.

Commercial Equipment Manufacturing? Yes, of all kinds, types and categories, too. Residential Construction? Yes and including Residential Development as well. Agriculture & Farming? Yes, your Ancestors invented it, so it is already second nature to you. Medicine, Healthcare & Pharmaceuticals? Yes, your Ancestors struck this ground first, so you do the same and close the loop on their legacy and what they invented.

There is not a solitary successful Industry in existence on this planet that you Black People, cannot replicate, envision, manage, grow and prosper in developing. You have nearly $3 Trillion at your disposal. But, you have far less vision and passion than you need. Yours is not a lack of resources - you clearly have that. Yours is a total lack of cohesion, vision and passion for a truly brighter future and THAT is what scares me so much about you Black People.

You only come together after someone has shot and killed you, or harassed you at a mall, or beaten you in the streets with mace and tasers. You then march and protest in unity. However, won't come together for the purpose of sharing resources to build a future that eradicates these things from your lives. Your Brothers and Sisters in South Africa, did not have the same economic resources that you do collectively here in the United States. Ergo, they could not do in South Africa what you can do here in the US.

You have real power, but you lack the knowledge about how to use it to lift yourselves, your communities, your family names and your Brothers and Sisters in Africa - the biggest economic development incubator imaginable.

It is time for the sleeping giant to awaken. Black People, you are that sleeping giant.

In the case of the OP, 8 cops came with their guns out and everything, because the guy was giving some TLC in his own yard... which is no reason at all to be acting like that. And that opinion was from the chief of police. In your example, the cops came with their guns, because a guy was spotted with a rifle. I don't think I'm splitting peas here when I just judge your example rather different and justified that the cops came with the guns out.

The white cops show up, and the white back-up ends up interrogating the black woman, to than headlock her to the ground to drag her off. The guy who made the death threads, Frank Tumm, was not detained or arrested. Nothing. Typical white police brutality against black people. Where racism clearly did not go when the Jim Crow laws ended. Frank Tumm is white. No big shock there.
