My question doesn't imply anything. It assumes that the FBI was aware of Russian attempts to influence the Trump campaign and it is standard FBI practice to alert the campaign when such things happen.

Why did not the FBI follow standard procedure?

Of course I've read it ... just as I've read all your attempts to explain away all the negative implications. Being that the testomony was released in it's entirety, it's funny to watch Trump haters try and frame Page's replies in a "CON-text" that completely differs to the "context" i which the replies were given though ... ::):

I see you're still peddling right wing conspiracy theories. Your claim is false, again.

    "
“I have seen nothing on the NSA side that we have engaged in such activity, nor that anyone ever asked us to engage in such activity,” Mr. Rogers told the House Intelligence Committee.

This is not the only occasion in which Mr. Rogers has refuted theories popular among Mr. Trump’s defenders. At that same hearing, Mr. Rogers also shot down a related theory floated by a Fox News personality and subsequently echoed by White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer, that Mr. Obama had enlisted GCHQ, Britain’s equivalent to the NSA, to spy on the Trump’s campaign. When asked by Rep. Adam Schiff, the committee’s ranking democrat if he made such a request to his British counterparts, Mr. Rogers shot back, “No sir. Nor would I. That would be expressly against the construct of the Five Eyes agreement that has been in place for decades.”

One of these days, you'll wise up and look to media that doesn't try and con you. But then, you Trumpsters really like being lied to! Ask Donald. He does it every day, and you're right back in front of your TV for more.

Why bother reading when you can meme and follow it up by asking to be spoon-fed?

Thanks for the information. I'll file that under "Useless information and quotes taken out of context which do not address the subject at hand".

Yes because the number of contacts between Russians for Clinton's campaign and Trump's campaign were very different.

Seems the FBI didn't agree when they fired him, huh?

I hate it when you folks list so many false/misleading statements they can't all be refuted in detail, so I'll go with #1 and 2.

Papa wasn't contacted by the informant until after Misfud approached him.

"We know that they launched a counterintelligence investigation into Trump by July, 2016".............with very good reason. What's your point?

Strzok was fired for his wrong doing yet the OP is defending him. What a hoot.

Joseph Misfud IS the FBI's informant. Which gave them the excuse to open up the investigation in July.
