    Really? So Obama and his transition team had secret meetings and set up back channels with Russia and then lied about it at every turn? I must have missed where Putin publicly stated that he had wanted Obama to win the presidency and took action to make that happen as he did with Trump. When did Obama meet with Putin with nobody else in attendance except a Russian translator and then refuse to make the transcript public? I missed that, too.

    Not exactly. While the Republicans did use the same firm for opposition research on Trump, the Steele dossier wasn’t worked on or started until Steele was hired, which was after the Republicans stopped using them.

    And this somehow negates Trump's being involved in several felonious acts? There is absolutely no question he was involved in making and then hiding the illegal hush payments to his ex-girlfriends. Why do you people think that someone else's (suspected or proven) nefarious behavior in a totally unrelated incident somehow clears the felonies from Trump's slate? Oh, and by the way, Bob Menendez was NOT found guilty and all charges were dropped. We know that because he faced his accusers rather than hiding behind a questionable 40+ year old "opinion" as Trump is (stating a sitting President cannot be indicted). If Trump is totally innocent of all suspected wrongdoing, why all the avoidance and outright lies? Why did all of his closest aides and associates end up indicted and convicted? Coincidence? Do you really think he accidentally surrounded himself with criminals and had no idea of what they were up to? C'mon, nobody is THAT gullible; not even a worshipping member of the Cult of Trump (formerly known as the Republican party).

    Yeah he served his country, ok. You did as well, and so did I. Do we deserve a pass when our decisions aid in the harming of others?

    McCain is no hero. He did his job. There’s been millions of us, who’ve done the same.
    The left ran a scorched earth campaign when the man ran against Obama, now he’s being proped up like some holiest of the holiest by the very same people. This nonsense is transparent, as it is hypocritical.

    My opinion of the accuracy of the dossier is immaterial. It is not my job nor am I qualified to investigate the allegations stated in the document. That would be the job of the FBI and the only legal and responsible choice would be to relinquish the document to them, which is what McCain did. Trump cares nothing about what the right thing to do is. In his mind, he should be protected at all costs regardless of the morality of the choices involved.

    What parts of the dossier have been proven to be incorrect? Please be specific. Much of it has proven to be accurate, but I don't know of any part of it that has been proven to be untrue.
