    Aside from the minor fact that Obama never had to be protected from the DOJ by his own appointed AG.

    Looks like just about everyone is angry about how this turned out, and I don't blame them. A couple days of community service and giving up some thousands of dollars to the city of Chicago is hardly sufficient punishment and compensation for what Smollett evidently did. No sir, I don't like it!

    I only got partially through this thread before I got disgusted with the left's antics. Here we have a guy who was indicted on 16 felony charges and as soon as a black guy is in the cross hairs what does the left do? They pivot to slavery, Jim Crow laws, and while I didn't read the entire thread, I'm thinking someone tucked Trayvon Martin into it somewhere. The most insane part of this thread, the post where I had to stop reading, is where a member said the left was for equality for all and then said it again later in the thread.

    On one hand the left is saying Smollet is not guilty because he hasn't been convicted, on the other hand the left says Trump is guilty even though he was never indicted.

    The incidents about white cops murdering black guys were airtight as well but the thug cops got off. Smollett didn't kill anyone but the mob wants to lynch him.

    And we thought we left the Obama administration lawless and corruption behind us and yet it rears is most ugly head again.

    What that piece of **** did was a hate crime, he targeted an entire race and could have set off a retaliation against white people. He is the true racist here. I hope the feds go after him.

    Breaking on Jussie Smollett case: A J Guglielmi says Chicago Police now barred from releasing additional Smollett records b/c of new court order. This keeps getting more strange.

    One previous Chicago government lawyer says that this is strange and he believes because it is protecting someone else in power.
