That one got a little lost in the daily news flow of sludge from Trump, but that belongs in the Trump Hall of Fame of stupid things to say....

Barr will not release an unredacted report. He's barred from doing so: He cannot release GJ information

Trump lies and refers to the NYT as failing and his tools parrot the nonsense without question.

I don't understand why they call them failing! We all know fake news sells. Look at Alex Jones! It might be more a question of sustainability. It's kind of like the 'boy who cried wolf'. Guess we'll see.

What's troubling to the 13 Angry Democrats is that Trump is President and Hillary isn't.

We will see. I predict that our Congress will get the report and release as much as possible to the public. I also think there will be several open congressional hearings regarding this Russian meddling. Also I hope that there will be an all out attack on the Russian mob here in the US who are laundering billions stolen from the Russian people here in the US and trying to buy political power with it.

Good, then we should all be able to see the evidence of Russian criminals trying to buy political influence here in America with billions stolen from the Russian peopl with the backing of Putin and his cronies. Hopefully, our lawmakers will get together and do something about it. After all, that is what these investigations were all about.

Congress can't get the unredacted report without passing legislation: legislation is not forthcoming they simply don't have the numbers. LET IT GO.

If they get it and leak it: that's a crime.

The message from Mueller’s team, whether deliberate, seems to be: Stay tuned, and be wary of Attorney General William Barr

For the entirety of its probe, special counsel Robert S. Mueller III’s team has been leakproof. When we learned things about its Russia investigation, it was almost always through people who found themselves mixed up in it. Mueller lived up to his by-the-book reputation.

Which makes what we saw Wednesday night all the more notable. The New York Times broke, then The Washington Post matched, the news that investigators on Mueller’s team were grousing about how Attorney General William P. Barr has handled summarizing their report.

Even if the leaks weren’t deliberate — the Times initially reported this secondhand as the Mueller team complaining to associates, not them — the fact that the investigators are complaining enough that this would leak is significant. It suggests a serious level of dissatisfaction and concern, if not a concerted effort to send a message before Barr’s big reveal of the Mueller report this month. These investigators may feel liberated to vent now that the probe is over (and some of them have even left the Justice Department), but you have to think this represents a very serious level of concern about Barr’s conduct, rather than just a few offhand comments.

This article doesn't cite anyone from the Mueller team...it's from some associates of someone on the Mueller team.

What is in the public sphere contradicts Cover-up Barr's spin of the Mueller investigation.

And what exactly is in the "public sphere"? A news article claiming to have inside information from anonymous sources?

One thing Democrats and Republicans agree, other than the members of Comrade Donnie's cult, that the FBI should have been contacted after receiving
    the email from Goldstone.

    Good morning

Emin just called and asked me to contact you with something very interesting.

The Crown prosecutor of Russia met with his father Aras this morning and in their meeting offered to provide the Trump campaign with some official documents and information that would incriminate Hillary and her dealings with Russia and would be very useful to your father.

This is obviously very high level and sensitive information but is part of Russia and its government's support for Mr. Trump - helped along by Aras and Emin.

What do you think is the best way to handle this information and would you be able to speak to Emin about it directly?

I can also send this info to your father via Rhona, but it is ultra sensitive so wanted to send to you first.

    Best

    Rob Goldstone

Thanks Rob I appreciate that. I am on the road at the moment but perhaps I just speak to Emin first. Seems we have some time and if it's what you say I love it especially later in the summer. Could we do a call first thing next week when I am back?

    Best,

    Don

I do not think it is a crime to obtain "dirt" on a political rival from a foreign county. It is a vile and disgusting act, in my opinion, but not illegal. If it was, then members of the DNC should be indicted for their involvement in the Fusion GPS fiasco.

False comparison: DNC was dealing with a private person; Comrade Donnie Jr. was agreeing to meet with someone who he had reason to believe was
an agent of the Russian government. Comrade Donnie Jr. should have notified the FBI.

You know Barr already voluntarily scheduled dates to testify before both houses of congress right? Meanwhile Barr is working "hand in glove" with Mueller in preparing the reports release. You think Nadler should file for a courts order demanding Barr surrender his passport?

The report in the Times is anonymous hearsay from people who alleging to know someone in the Mueller investigation and they don't even know what is the disagreement. It is more garbage reporting. We need an investigation as to where this came from and if indeed someone in the investigation is leaking something from Mueller's confidential report to the Attorney General they need to be prosecuted. If they are just lying about it they need to be exposed.
