NY Times: Mueller Report More Damaging Than Barr Let On

Anonymous sources are used reasonably by newspapers like the New York Times; the Washington Post; and USA TODAY. They almost have to...if they are to perform the duties the press provides.

If Mueller had released the report to the public, you'd be the first one here to bellow out of the other side of your mouth about overreach!

Oh, and the Trump team is trying to prevent any summaries prepared by Mueller from being released.

 

We had the summary report of the Attorney General, the Deputy Attorney General and Mueller working with the Office of Legal Counsel. We have no new indictments from the grand jury. We have no collusion and no obstruction.

 

This is hearsay by anonymous sources. Did Mueller issue an objection to the summary report? No.

People follow those that they believe are fighting for their cause....and yes, they sometimes do turn a blind eye to atrocities in hopes that their cause is advanced. However, I do not see that this is the case with Trump...yet. However, the minute he talks about putting people in ovens, I will let you know.

 

Sometimes you have to remember the "anonymous source" is simply the vision in the mirror parroting what the reporters want to hear and they report those then as "anonymous" because, well, who would trust that it was just their fantasy, or opinions....

My position is that I have learned lots about how a guy like Hitler could have lots of followers...by what has happened during the last couple of years.

Hitler was odious...yet people continued to attach to him.

Trump is every bit as odious...yet people continue to attach to him.
