But if Trump wants Black support [which he does not want] then I suggest he hold a town hall or gathering in Los Angeles/ Chicago/ NYC etc and honestly respond to questions from Blacks/ Hispanics/ Asians/ LBGTQ/ students. Wishful/ delusional Trumped Republicans think Blacks will join the GOP. Get real. It seems that there is no Republican constituency other than White/ Evangelical/ rural nationalists.

How is this statement from Charles Blow encouraging to Republicans?

Thats happened here in California years ago.

When I was growing up, rappers were from Long Beach, Compton, Watts, Carson city. (South central LA)

Now the blacks in those cities have been largely replaced by recent immigrants.

Many of those immigrants will work cheaper both under the table, and in the low skilled job market. They will also live 10 to a room, and send money back home to bring more here.

Their children go to the local schools. They clog the local hospitals. And despite what you may have heard there is violence as well.

They also consume welfare resources.

And its not PC to say, but there is very striking racism in latin America.

 

There is no immigration clause in our federal Constitution. Only illegals don't care about the law. Our welfare clause is General and we have a Commerce Clause. We should be upgrading Ellis Island and surrounding infrastructure, and use the superior economic resources of State Capitalism to out-compete black markets.

Miami is already nearly 2/3 Hispanic/Latino (and only 15% white) so who knows the political fallout.....

Miami already has the 2nd lowest median household income in the US (others in the top 5 are Riverside CA, San Antonia, Phoenix, and Los Angeles, go figure.....) 15% of people in Miami live below the poverty line. Miami-Dade County already has 25% of residents receiving food stamps (vs the national average of 13%, and the overall Florida average of 14%) with 30% of Hispanics and 35% of blacks receiving food stamps.

It is no surprise Florida is a "purple" state when it comes to voting.
