Could be. They are known to open fire at church and temple attendees and are no strangers to firebombing either. What happened in Selma, Oklahoma City and Pittsburgh? You guessed it....White Nationalist Gun whackos. We need to keep a close watch on these types.

The liberal left wants White Western Civilization destroyed.........what could be better than destroying one of the most iconic pieces of architecture associated with it.........

 

they do love their symbolism. 9/11 was to strike the heart of the west, government, financial, military. those were symbolic targets as well as strategic ones.

 

I mean.... its an 800 yr old church filled with old paper, wood, and cloth, made to draw in air as it was built before AC was even a fantasy.
One bad cigarette toss is all it takes in that situation

 

It contained 52 acres worth of wood and yet it survived the French Revolution and WW2 Nazi occupation. It's stunning to think one discarded cigarette butt took it down. 5 min. after it closed for the day.

 

That's a pretty good comparison. This is heartbreaking. God I hope it was accidental and the world hasn't come to the point where someone would do something like this on purpose, but we are sharing our planet with some monsters.....

Cigarette fires start small and grow. Electrical fires in renovations of old buildings like this are also not precisely unheard of.

French rev: Mostly catholic on catholic.
WW2 Nazis: If they weren't party members, and even some that were, totes catholic.

3 facts would lead to violence here: 1) if the fire was arson and by a muslim that's ww3. 2) if the fire was arson and by a yellow vest, that's going to be civil war EU (since its spread quite a bit) 3) if the fire was an accident but the person at fault is either muslim or a yellow vester (whether actually or able to be tangentially linked to be tarred and feathered) you'll get the same result.

We all better pray to God that none of those 3 things are facts.

You can't drop that many tons of water on the roof of an 840 yr old building.

 

Water tanker airdrops would collapse the ruins because of the concentrated weight of the water. PODS trump should send then some paper towels like he gave the Puerto Ricans.

 

I believe that they said all artwork and other "valuables" were safely removed.

 

What a loss for the world....

 

God said fire and brimstone would be the next punishment.

Nothing, except leftists will worry about a possible Muslim backlash.

Even if Muslims weren't involved, they're probably cheering this tragedy, as many did 9/11.

All the most precious artwork being stored inside the cathedral has been saved, according to the Parisian fire department.

• 5:07 p.m. ET:

A French firefighters told reporters that the main structure of the cathedral, as well as the two iconic main towers at the front, have been saved.

looks like arson during the holy week.

 

The proper question to be asking now, will be if anyone ever finds out what the real cause was? Or will the world at large be denied the truth for whatever reason? How will anyone be able to know for certain?

 

Any word yet on casualties? I'm hoping that this was all a by the book evacuate and contain and no one got hurt
