National Economic Council director Larry Kudlow went on Fox News Channel’s “The Ingraham Angle” on Monday to dispel falsehoods told by Democrats and members of the mainstream media about President Donald Trump’s tax cuts.

Kudlow revealed the average American is saving “about $2,300” in their tax returns from 2018, adding the president is “rebuilding the economy” with his policies.

...“[T]he biggest beneficiaries are the blue-collar workers — not the supervisors,” said Kudlow. “We’ve never seen blue-collar employment like this in 50 years.”

MAGA is made in such ways.

Democrats have lied for some time about Trumps tax cuts which actually save the average tax payer over $2000 a year.

And yet they have been proven wrong yet again-and even the left leaning New York times.

The economy has been on the exact same unchanging upward trend since 2010.

    It's all borrowed money.

You'll get the bill. By then Kudlow will be doing commentary on Fox Noise, and will be pointing his finger at the people cleaning up his mess.

Growing the economy will do a lot towards the deficit. Do you really think Nancy & Co. will cooperate in cutting entitlements? Some in her party are busy proposing free everything for everyone.

No, he was making the point that these tax cuts helped blue collar workers, you know, folks that WORK for a living.
Sorry if that offends you...actually no, I’m not.

Everybody (at least up to Eisenhower) had better GDP numbers than Obama.

22 Jan 2019 - The number of people in work in the UK has reached a record high of 32.54 million, latest figures from the Office for National Statistics show.

19 Feb 2019 - The number of people in work in the UK has continued to climb, with a record 32.6 million employed between October and December, the latest .

19 March 2019 The number of employed people in the UK has risen again, to a new record number of 32.7 million people

The UK have record number of people working and did not have any tax cuts. The same thing is happening in other similar countries. Trump's tax cuts resulted in reduced government income and had no effect on employment

Kudlow's a millionaire so he thinks it's a good deal. Most of us (except the Trumpers) know averages don't mean diddley.

The average household would get a tax cut of $1,610 in 2018, a bump of about 2.2 percent in that average household's income, according to a report released Monday by the Tax Policy Center, a nonpartisan think tank that has been critical of the tax overhaul plan.

However, extremes make averages, and the benefits would be much larger for richer households. A household earning $1 million or more would get an average cut of $69,660, an income bump of 3.3 percent. Compare that with the a tax cut of $870, or 1.6 percent, for the average household earning $50,000 to $75,000.

Where's your numbers, and/or wishful numbers?

FACT: Transfer payments and interest payments are growing much faster than the economy.

    Here's my numbers/sources;

    Transfer payments;

    End of Q4 2017; $2.119 trillion
    End of Q4 2018; $2.219 trillion

    UP 9.5%

    https://fred.stlouisfed.org/series/B087RC1Q027SBEA

    Interest payments

    FY2017; $263 billion
    FY2018; $325 billion UP 8%
    FY2019; $393 billion (OMB estimates) UP 8.3%

    Source; Monthly Treasury Statement

    Keep playing, and hoping.....

By the way, we have record revenues.

Quote: Perhaps we should cut transfer payments by 50%

    $2.220 trillion/2 = $1.110 trillion
    Assuming 80% of $1.110 trillion purchase goods and services..... a fair assumption;
    $1.110 X 80% = $888 billion
    Convert $888 billion to Real; Real GDP 18.566 X .888/Nominal GDP 20.490 = $805 billion

    2017 Real GDP; $18.051 trillion
2018 Real GDP; $18.566 trillion UP $515 billion
    GDP Growth rate 2.9%

    Result; $805 billion - $515 billion = RECESSION!

Quote; Perhaps we should cut transfer payments by 25%

Result; GDP Growth rate will decrease from 2.9% to 1/2 percent minus psychological effect = RECESSION!

Quote: Perhaps we should cut transfer payments by 10%

Results; GDP Growth Rate will decrease from 2.9% to 1.6%, thus, back to Obama's 2016 "dismal" rate.

Quote: Perhaps we have a revenue problem

    WE SURE DO!

Comparing Trump to Carter is ridiculous. Cherry-picking just GDP is even worse. Do you really want to compare economic indicators? I thought not.

It doesn't have to be borrowed money if we keep up the momentum. We should be using these prosperous times to pay down the debts. Restructure medicare/medicaid, look to cut 25% of publicly held debt within 5 years. This requires fiscal responsibility and willingness to do the right thing, not the political thing.

    LOL.
The video shows what he is trying to sell. He either believes it or he's lying. My opinion is he's lying, but I gave him the benefit of the doubt.
I really don't care about the exact amount either, but rather the misleading statement that the tax cuts are better for the blue collar worker than their better paid supervisors.
I mean, you do know they are a better deal for the rich. Right?

    Yeah.
But to "real" people, one trip to the grocery store will make them wonder where that $20 went.

For me, I cannot read anybody who uses the horrible context of "We've NEVER done something in some time frame"..

If we've done something in the past, don't use the word never. Kudlow showing his general ignorance..

But your statement lies in direct contradiction with the facts.

Since you are black, I am sure you are aware that African American numbers are better than they have ever been.

So why would you make such a false statement?
