Yes....obviously Barr is a trump plant....His "spying" comment along with his "resume" he submitted declaring the president above the law proved he is not only partisan...he is taking the place of Michael Cohen as trump's lawyer.

Oh....and the judge was appointed by W Bush...one of the conservative republicans of yesteryear....

You know William Barr was a Bush appointee too right? And this judges opinion didn't affect the outcome. Buzzfeed got shot down. Perceptions haven't any legal standings, and it's good to know Barr wasn't shown any partisan favoritism. The judge ruled on the legal merits, not the delusional dog whistle perceptions.

History is repeating itself. He did the very same thing with a document in 1989. By the time it was made public, two years later, it was evident that he covered up details and provided misleading information about the document.

Members of Congress asked to see the full legal opinion. Barr refused, but said he would provide an account that “summarizes the principal conclusions.” Sound familiar? In March 2019, when Attorney General Barr was handed Robert Mueller’s final report, he wrote that he would “summarize the principal conclusions” of the special counsel’s report for the public

When the OLC opinion was finally made public long after Barr left office, it was clear that Barr’s summary had failed to fully disclose the opinion’s principal conclusions. It is better to think of Barr’s summary as a redacted version of the full OLC opinion.

If they didn't do anything wrong and everything was on the up and up they got nothing to worry about.

1st he did not declare anyone least of all Trump above the law what he did say is that the president can fire anyone not protected by union contract in the federal government at any time provided he is willing to take the political heat for so doing. And what you just posted is little more than political heat with very little light attached.
2nd W. Bush is not a conservative in any meaningful since of the word.

What a coincidence. This is Barr slow walking the release of the full report, after writing a misleading summary, in order to minimize its impact just as he did in 1989. The parallels are pretty stunning.

Nice to know you are now embracing GW Bush but don't call him a conservative.
Actually, Barr is just another individual who aggravates the lefties. It really doesn't matter what position they fill, if they are involved with the Trump administration they are someone to hate.
    Orange man bad.
Keep pushing their buttons, President Trump.

More and more, it looks as though someone in Trump's camp did their homework with the selection of the AG...

So 2 yrs later 1991 when Barr's "misleading" repesentations were discovered ... what happened? Did Barr face any consequences? Did the person(s) Barr supposedly covered for face any?

"Walton, an appointee of President George W. Bush, did not elaborate on what actions or statements by the attorney general have generated those perceptions."

Walton was appointed back when the GOP was not run by a bunch of hyper partisan hacks.

It would be interesting to see any liberal satisfied with results that don't go their way.

    Is that possible?

You haven't explained why anyone should take the Barr smears seriously. Barr wasn't disciplined? Criminals weren't charged? Tell us all about the horrible abuses and the devastating effects OK? Too bad TalkingPointsMemo only provides the talking points huh?

Barr needs to clean up the abuse of the DOJ and FBI by the Obama administration. Like the IRS, this is coming to a head and it will be cleaned up but will any of the wrongdoers go to jail? Maybe but I will not hold my breath. Like Hillary, the elitists have a different set of rules.

The outrage simply cannot stop for the democrats. They have way too much invested in their collectivist temper tantrum to give it up easily. Noting that one federal judge has criticized the, what was it again? managerial style? of mr Barr is just the latest in a string of overreaching liberal memes to justify their continued hissy fit.

If democrats believe that they have the evidence, then why not just bring it forward? Where is Schiff for brains these days? Hiding? What about the Nads? Where's he been? The full document is released tomorrow, and tomorrow, their narrative dries up.

As to the investigation into spying on the trump and other republican campaigns... well, that is just about to hatch. (Even Orin would be proud).

So, my thought here is that democrats, you got exactly what you wanted. You got to scream and cry out desperately into the wind. And now? Now comes the next chapter that eviscerates the actions of the Obama administration. This should be fun.

Maybe it's fallout from the "no winners" "participant trophy" indoctrination.

It seems anything short of total "victory" is 110% unacceptable.

That kind of attitude won't play well with the reality of life.....

What's telling about your reply is the absence of a denial Barr did not accurately summarize the OLC memo or the Mueller report. It indicates you think duplicitous behavior on the part of an AG is normal and acceptable. I can understand why you've come to believe that in the age of Trumpery when all things Don have been corrupted. But it's not the way it's supposed to be.

From what I have read about Judge Walton who was a FISA judge, I like him. However, I respectfully disagree with his opinion on this. I believe that if anyone has made people leery, it was Holder and Lynch who weaponized the DOJ against their perceived enemies under Obama. After all, this whole mess started under Obama who liked to punish his perceived enemies. Remember the IRS scandal too? Don't try to blame the victims. Blame the people RESPONSIBLE for it. What the DOJ and FBI did was nothing short of treason and they didn't do what they did without the tacit approval of Obama. Just think, if Hillary had won, all of this deception would have been covered up and all these investigations shut down. Evil lives among us...

So.........it's true. Being a member of the Trump cult has made you forget that dishonesty..........whether it is punished or not............is wrong. Just like approving security clearances for people who are national security threats, despite it being within a prez's authority to do so..........is wrong. This is more evidence of what I've said, Don smears his shyte on everything he touches.

"Yet Walton said in court Tuesday that he may demand a copy of the unredacted report so that he can determine whether the redactions were made properly.

“That’s something we will have to work through. I’ll have to think about it,” Walton said, per Politico."

Another threat to Barr's attempt to hide the truth.

When was Bush conservative? When he favored illegal immigration? This clown is not a judge. He's a Bush family acolyte. Trump stomped Jeb and criticized W. Why would a Bush family acolyte's opinion in the absence of evidence warrant a thread?

Only a new special council investigation of the DOJ, FBI, and FISA court can say if its delusionsl or not
