Actually ,Page was approached well before he became involved with Trump. And the FBI knew about it and interviewed Page regarding it, well before Trump.

It is possible that the Russians told Trump and his son in law to add Page (and George Papadopolous) to non existent team of “foreign policy experts”. But I am not aware of any evidence of that.

It does seem to fit. When you think of who the people in the Trump campaign at that period in the election cycle, you’ll note that EVERY one of them would meet with Russian operatives during the campaign, and all of them would be caught lying about it.

 

"The FBI" ... "The DOJ" weren't investigated. Personnel, their adherence to internal policy, and their email exchanges were investigated. Comey, McCabe, Strzok et al determined to have violated agency policy. IG now examining the investigative tactics, how evidence was handled, how witnesses and suspects were handled, and investigative / prosecutorial decisions were made, and by whom. Screenshot this for reference. You get confused a lot.

You seem unable to distinguish between "using judgement" : the process of forming an opinion or evaluation by discerning and comparing and "a judgement" : a formal decision given by a court. Is that on purpose or are you just being obtuse ?

Trump’s lackeys in the right wing noise machine are going after the ORANGES of this investigation. That must mean that they are still very worried about what is contained in the report. Also, I find it strange that Trumps lawyers have announced that they have prepared a 200 page rebuttal to the report. What’s up with that? A couple weeks ago, they were dancing in the end zone claiming total victory and exoneration. Barr acted very sheepish and evasive when he was asked if he had already turned over the report to Trump’s legal team. I suspect that he did turn over the unredacted report to them. If so, he is going to have a hard time explaining why he will not turn the unredacted report to the US Congress. I can’t wait to see Barr explain how it’s ok to turn it over to Trump, but not congress. His fat ass will be in front of a congressional panel sometime next week.
