They are terrorists and allowing them to terrorize innocent people for the off chance of them finding a bad apple simply encourages their lawlessness and victimizes law abiding people.

Yes totally, they caused that Melbourne business to shut down and I think 7 people lost their jobs..on top of that they are vilifying farmers...they have crossed the line of and can no longer be considered peaceful protesters.

Down with the Vegans! I think they need to be tenderised.

Yes. Vigilantism is still illegal... The law should apply to all equally.

I am sure activists would demand people to be put in gaol (are you Australian?) should they break into their house, chain themselves to their fridge, bed, TV and lounge. What is the difference???

If they think there is issues, they should report them to the people that are employed to prosecute such…

Even activists should be held accountable for their actions…

Let me put it in perspective for you Cats... when you ask a single Aussie bloke what he had for dinner on Monday...."steak" Tuesday...."steak"....Wednesday...."steak" most Australians don't really care if the cow had therapy prior to slaughter. Farmers treat their livestock as humanely as possible prior to us eating them.

Most often I think you are right, however, in those rare cases, don't we need to know?
After all, we are humanists, and should live to a certain standard or ethics. If animals are treated badly bring it on....
And yes, you are also right that we are a meat loving nation, however give it another 20 years and things will change, The evidence is out there, less meat, better health. Although I wouldn't want to give up red meat, nothing beats a 35mm steak on a bbq.....

yes we need to know but I don't think it should be up to the Vegans, besides their tactics are awful, destroy lives... we have animal organisations to fill this role.

btw Personally I don't eat a lot of meat, never more than twice a week....and never without a side salad

Anyone trespassing on private property should be charged and imprisoned for multiple years. Property owners should be able to defend their property with lethal force if necessary to deter the threat.

    SP,
would you still hold on to this opinion when it turned out that animal cruelty did appear?
We are not talking trespassing as such, but only in case of proven animal cruelty!
At least that was my intention with this thread,

If you have evidence of illicit treatment of animals give it to the authorities, don't trespass and thereby engage in illicit conduct yourself.
