Of course they did. But then right wing political groups do have a reputation of pretending to be a non-profit charity when in fact they are political action groups.

The thing I wonder is if they used to feel the same about people like Bush and McCain, etc.

Because they hate them now as much as they do everyone on the "left".

It will be pretty darn amusing if one day in the future they are ripping apart their current savior.

and it actually exposes him as a criminal. You should read Lisa Page's testimony. She straight out incriminates him. :)

People tend to like their own politician because politicians at present draw districts in such a way as to stack their own full of folks who are predisposed to like them at the exclusion of others. Not that liking ones own politician is necessarily a bad thing mind you. A Ranked system of voting would actually lead to politicians having broader appeal within their districts overall, they would likely be more moderate as well, rather than of an extreme with part of the electorate loving them fervently and the other part hating them in contrast... feelings instead would tend to be more measured due to their moderation. This alone in my opinion would lead to an overall more likeable congress, as such representatives would naturally be much better at compromising for the good of their respective constituents...

...but... if you really want to ensure that safe districts don't result in a low quality congress that can't be gotten rid of, then Gerrymandering is the thing you'll want to fix. Best case scenario would be to implement both fixes actually... Get rid of Gerrymandering and replace Plurality elections with Ranked ones. Though even individually either or would be a major improvement over our current polarized set up...

There is no poll that I searched on that comes close to your numbers and you provided no link to back it up, therefore you made it up.

Don't you just love it? The New York Times is two year behind and has a lot of catching up to do. I hear Nellie rocks in big trouble too.

These hundreds of contacts with Russians "or their intermediaries" are just talking points made up phoney numbers. Who are the intermediaries? Roger Stone? George Popodopolous? Carter Page?

    Screenshot_20190502-141940_Twitter.jpg

Anyway. The the #SPYGATE story is in the New York Times finally.
I wish I could put the whole article. Sorry it's behind the paywall. One more quote from same article:

"They're all out to get me ... but I'm not paranoid ....!"

All of that really seems to be mental espionage to keep people freaking out about Trump so that they can't coalesce behind a unified Democrat. It's actually pretty brilliant.

No, not always, sometimes its the incompetent people he has surrounded himself with and sometimes it really is somebody elses fault.

But only an idiot would think he is not only his own biggest fan, he's also his own worst enemy. The guy is a mendacious demagogue of the first order and a crook to boot. All Hail Dear Leader.

So the devil and his minions.

Does this new folklore have a savior from the evil devil and his minions?

But to you he's Satan right?

No, I see a narcissistic sociopathic mendacious demagogue whose ethics and morals can only be measured on the quantum scale.

It appears you believe in devils and Satan which I suppose isn't surprising for somebody who has bought trump's bullshit hook line and sinker.

Poor deranged donnie, the perfect victim along with all his oppressed nationalist followers.

I'm sorry not going on a rage rant every 5 seconds about how orange man bad is not buying everything he said to Hook line & sinker.

I'm not sure why you resort to such hyperbole.

    That isn't hyperbole that's mockery.

I'm mocking your obsession with Donald Trump. I don't think anyone thinks or cares about him more than you do people do.

I totally understand that you and yours don't give a crap what kind of man is President and Commander in Chief.

Of course it makes ignoring, denying, and deflecting a whole lot easier, so I guess ya got that goin' for you.

well I care about the same amount I did about the last guy that was the president and the guy before him and the guy before him and the guy before him. any further than that I couldn't have cared because I didn't exist.

I'm sorry you care so much. It seems to be the source of all of your woe.

I do find the constant belly aching amusing.

Denying and deflecting of what? Your bellyaching? I don't deny that, but I point and laugh.

And sould anybody run against Donald Trump within his party that I liked better, I would still vote for Trump in hopes he wins and I can see how much more ridiculous you can be.

What does any of this have to do with Junior, basically exclaiming "Yippy!" when he was contacted by foreign agents telling him they had and wanted to share information (stolen) with him that would be advantageous to Senior, and deleterious to to Senior's political opponent within the context of an American Presidential Campaign? Or, any of the myriad of contacts between Senior's campaign members and Russian, Ukrainian and Martian Operatives?

Ok. That last bit about Martian Operatives was something of a stretch, but they might as well have been Martians. Senior, would no doubt have tried to arrange a Hotel on Mars and been more than willing to meet with Martians who had dirt on his political opponent back here on Planet Earth.

Page and Papa, were already under investigation by the time they joined Senior's campaign. This is well understood by anyone having actually read the report. I read all of it and posted about my opinion regarding its conclusions in two different threads. The were not SWAT. They were revolver carrying old school FBI desk agents who never get out much and finally got a chance to put on some Kevlar.

Look, of course, I'm waxing light about some of this. There should be no outrage from anyone (Republican or Democrat) about investigating a presidential campaign racking up a huge Sprint bill with long distance phone calls to Mother Russia just before a United States Presidential Election. Come on. If the shoe was on the other foot, articles of impeachment would have been drafted before the opposing president took off their underwear before taking a shower on the night of their inauguration. This President is corrupt. Republicans need to field an Ethical Candidate for 2020 and the rank and file Trumpets should return home to the land called United States of America, and never knock boots with Mother Russia again. Wining is one thing. Jumping into bed with a Foreign Adversary to get the job done is quite another. How about some real Patriotism here. Patriots don't do that.

You ask the military to target these people, but then you field a presidential candidate who jumps into bed with them? I don't understand that.

Well I am definitely not surprised that your voting choices are based on making anonymous internet users look ridiculous. A classic example of the intellectual prowess of trumpettes. At least your are in good company.

Alpha male? An amoral lying bullying coward with no ethics is an alpha male in your neck of the woods?

Billions of dollars earned thru hard work? If he'd just put his inheritance in the bank he'd be wealthier than he actually is today. Of course nobody knows because he once again totally lied about releasing his taxes, while he continues to make millions while in office.

Yep a real stand up guy that you can admire for all his sterling qualities that you think makes a great leader of men. Them bumperstickers sure do make it easy.
