I am around a hell of a lot of blacks who were born in India. People forget the color of the typical person born in India.

I see hard working, well educated and in general more affluent people. Somehow I never hear them talking about white supremacy nor do they complain society treats them poorly. Wonder why not?

Comparing Black Indians to African Blacks can tell a lot about the story.


Bowerbird sounds to me as if she has never lived among blacks in their typical city surroundings in the USA.

I happen to have black clients who in a lot of ways are superior. I do not know white supremacists.

The cool thing about Breitbart is that they wouldn't tell you that mom and apple pie is evil.

CNN on the other hand will tell you that cops are evil racists.

 

I willingly wade into battle with people who disagree with me without once giving thought as to what percentage is against me.

When I appraised homes, my lenders requesting Appraisals were primarily from Santa Clara (my office in Alameda County), however we did many appraisals for a firm that started in Alameda Country, got a lot of their loans in Santa Clara County so a lot of my work for them was also in Santa clara County. I was very familiar with all of Alameda country for a long time anyway. I got orders from my own two offices doing loans as well. One of my two loan offices worked with a black man, Mr. Grant. Grant graduated college as an engineer and his wife was a manager for a CA DMV office. Grant knew blacks like few others. But he was black. He made a huge error. He thought his color would insulate him from bad blacks. So he bought up slums and i appraised them. Grant poured cash into them and freshened the homes up. He would rent them to black due to the problem only black would live in those parts of Oakland, CA. Whites shunned those areas as did Asians. I saw some real crap in all of those homes upon his purchase. When he fixed them up they came to life. He would seek me to appraise them as they got fixed up for a higher loan on his property. The extra cash from his loans went into buying more dumps. He was a swell man and we got along well. I tried to caution him he was moving way too fast. I wanted him to be successful. But his fresh rentals were rented fairly but those tenants did not have stable incomes. They trashed his property. I used to wonder why would a black move into a delightful home then trash it terribly. I never learned why. I saw it happen too many times.

So are whites superior to those blacks? I say not superior to Mr. Grant. Grant ended up losing everything he owned. He had been an engineer manager for a major oil firm but quit to manage his real estate. I lost track of him when his empire crashed. I do not know if he returned to the oil firm or what he did to earn a living.

I know more of these stories given the huge number of appraisals we did for a long time. Also I sold homes to blacks but not in lousy areas.

 

Well let's hear it for someone owning it.
