Who is going to kill Cersei? Team Arya / Hound - the Hound wanting to face down his brother who stands nearby Cersei. The back stabbing King Slayer, Jaime? We know Grayworm wishes it was him / it. And will Euron get his comeuppance or go too quickly? Details? Moi Shelters White Walkers!
I think Jon kills Dany. I don't see how it shakes out, otherwise. Fantasy stories do not end with, "nothing changed, it's all just the same old ****." Dany is just more of the same; a total loon, drunk on power. Now that Varys & Tyrion have figured it out, she's a goner.
I think Dany dies, but not by Jon. I think Arya is most likely. I think that Tyrion or Jaime will kill Cersei, most likely Jaime.
Winter is a naturally occurring phenomenon. On that world, they have a severe 30 year long winter that comes every 5,000 years. The White Walkers just take advantage of it.
I'm looking forward to the next episode(s), there has been a lot of negativity out there in social media but those peeps tend to be full of negativity anyway so basically, same ole same ole. It seems to me that Dany will go down and Jon takes over but not sure how that works out to be honest. If we're making wild predictions. plan a: Euron shoots dany's dragon down inside the walls, the mountain kills her, then the hound kills the mountian and arya kills cersi, john takes over but he's very sad plan b: euron shoots dany & she dies, mountain kills john, hound kills mountain, arya kills cersi, Gendry takes over since he's now offically a newly minted lord. Unfortunately I haven't found a place for greyworm in this but i'm working on it.
No, The weird seasons are becuase of magic. The seasons were normal until the Valyrians tamed the dragons which was around the same time the Others were created (by the Great Other in the books and by the Children in the show). The fire magic of the dragons and ice magic of the Others created a seesaw effect with whichever type of magic was dominate at the time influencing the weather. Now that the Others are gone (the show and books have the same ending, only the characters involved will be different) and the dragons likely to be as well by the end, normal seasons should take hold.
That's not what I was taught. "They Bring The Winter". Could I be confusing that "they bring the cold"? Moi confused. NEVER!
Varys and Tyrion figuring that out may be more dangerous to their health than to Dany's, especially since we know for sure Varys dies. I do think Dany will end up being the main antagonist by the end, though, and you are probably right about Jon taking her out.
I read a little further but had the same overall reaction...George Rotten Rat Martin.. the F'in' mass murderer! He even killed off Snow's dire wolf Ghost in the book!
I'll repeat.. it was in the Book..sometime after the red wedding. I was glad the HBO series didn't kill Ghost.. since my son named his dog after him
Hm, I've read some of the other wolves dying, but not Ghost yet. From what I've read, he's still alive by the end of A Dance with Dragons.
I'm sure Sansa let out Jon's heritage on purpose once Dany starts slaughtering thousands of innocent people to get to Cersie Jon will become a very popular choice for King of the Seven Kingdoms however could Sansa claim the throne the Northern Army will be hers, she could cut deal with the Iron Bank to get the Golden Company and she is a STARK a name respected throughout the Seven Kingdoms and is married to Tyrion another old respected name. She was educated under some devious men and women and is ruthless and her sister could take out Dany (Master Assassin) if needed. Note don't expect the last dragon to die from Scorpion weapons easily Dany knows about them and this time will not be surprised the Iron Fleet will burn I'm pretty sure.
I thought he went down during the battle with the Night King, as he charged in with the Dothraki and their flaming swords. He got beat up pretty bad, but he made it in the TV version. Of course they killed one more dragon and Ghost was sent north with the wildlings...which I think has far more to do with budget in a final season than the story.
yes.. I searched for Ghost death and found a scene that would explain why I made the assumption that Ghost had been killed..
Now that you mention it, I think I know the scene. There are definitely times when he leaves things ambiguous too. I was convinced Brienne was dead after that scene with Lady Stoneheart, but glad to see she's still around.
