"We've opened up investigations, yay!!!" So much for, as Barr said not using the judicial system to target political enemies. Conspicuously all of these investigations(especially the tax ones) could've opened up at any rate, but they only opened up in resistance. Whether he's found guilty of any of these or not, I don't care but let's no longer entertain the delusion that the justice system is devoid of politics. It is part and parcel of our political system.
The first investigation caught 29 people and institutions, got please and convictions and jail times and fines. The next 29 investigations each may catch at least ten GOP and rw criminals. And obstruction is waiting for Trump when the next administration comes to office. SOL begins running the first day Trump is out of office. And the FBI is investigating Barr now.
Then why would you ask how many arrest where made? I'd also like to see the accounting that shows that the Mueller investigation has lead to any sort of profit for the US Govt. Right now many US Attorneys are Courts are tied up with Manafort creditors saying they have superior title....the money spent seems to ever grow.
A criminal complaint during one of the ten separate investigations would have led to an eventual arrest. But y’all were fine with that “witch hunt”. As for the creditors we will have to see where the courts place the money. It still will have cost less and resulted in more than any single one of the Republican led ones did.
What was there to charge? The murders happened in a foreign nation....the Obama Admin simply being incompetent and not providing proper protection isn't criminal. Them lying to the American people about it wasn't criminal either. That doesn't mean we shouldn't find out what happened, and insure that those things don't happen again. That's what oversight is all about. I am not sure how you can make that conclusion since you are merely speculating about the money. Moreover the Muller investigation was lead by a Republican. Manafort was prosecuted by Trump's DOJ, and it's his DOJ attempting to collect
Yeah...it happened in Sept of 2012...the GOP didn't have all of Congress...the Senate was run by the Dem, and so was the State Dept....it should be noted however that the funding was more then the prior year. So, money wasn't the issue...how that money was spent however...that maybe a problem...incompetent folks at the State Dept....even Clinton's own handed picked State Dept Accountiabilty Board highlighted that.
Benghazi was a criminal tragedy needing an investigation. Democrats want to investigate Trump simply out of spite; clearly partisan, and clearly an abuse of power.
I don't think the deaths were criminal per se...tragic, because had we had a competent Admin the deaths likely would not of happened. What was even more tragic then the deaths, was the lies by the Admin in an attempt to cover up what happened, so that it wouldn't have a negative affect on the 2012 Presidential election
What crime did you find while investigating him the last two years. We'll just pretend we investigate people instead of crimes for instructional purposes.
Tell me more about the investigations into Comey, Lynch, Hillary, Obama, mueller, Strzok, Rosenstein....
Wow that was more tragic than the deaths??? That's some cold hearted ****! You must be equally outraged by trump trying to cover up Russian meddling in 2016 right?
Yeah, a bunch of Russian indictments, not convictions, and a guy they chose to prosecute for a crime they chose not to prosecute him for in 2014.
Yes, equally tragic because the Admin knew what happened at lied to the families and the American people. Potentially putting more lives in the future at risk. The current President didn't cover up the Russian meddling...his admin conducted an investigation, he issued santactions, and was cleared of any false accusations the left was making in regards to his campaign afer fully cooperating with a Special Prosecutor
trump has been at the middle of numerous instances of corruption and fraud. I will agree what is happening is purely partisan however, if Obama had done a tenth of what trump openly acknowledges they would be calling for impeachment already. Republicans have betrayed their country over party — while I know older voters don’t care, I hope the sub 35 crowd remembers it for decades.
And all the wrong doing?? Zero to do with Trump personally. The witch hunt basically screwed over over a bunch of people that certainly did some wrongdoing. But none of it had anything with the entire point of the investigation in the first place. Trump being a russian plant!!! Kind of messed up.
HIs admin has made it perfectly clear they were....were there others as well? That I don't know, it's not been fully investigated. All I do know, as it relates to Russia, there was a lot of false allegations against Trump and his campaign and Mueller cleared him of any conspiracy.
He said he believed Putin. Are you kidding with this BS? Others who hacked the dnc and leaked it to Wikileaks? Lol
He said he believed his intel agencies, but believed Putin was being honest that he was unaware....he never tried to stop the investigations...or interfere with them. I do know Trump admin has indicted a number of Russians...and that his Admin stated boldly they interferred...meanwhile..the Obama admin worked to undermine and lie to the American people about what took place in Libya. That's clear. I don't know if other countries leaked things to Wikileaks...but have no doubt other nations hacked or attempted to hack into our Govt, and political organizations.
The Russian interference hasn't been entirely about Trump. It is also about putting Putin and Russia in a positive light, in American minds. A few years ago, most conservatives were quite anti Russian. How things have changed.
His horrible record as a businessman. It seems that conservatives like failed businessmen. Bush bankrupted every company he was put in charge of. Trump, who inherited $413,000,000 from his father regularly lost money, large amounts of money.
