We have 95 MILLION working age 16 to 64 year olds who are voluntarily sitting out the 9-5 work day.So we really do not have a shortage of people who could potentially fill the 7 plus million jobs currently going unfilled.

No it doesn't. But I can see how it might be a real stumper for you.

And you know perfectly well I am bigotted against commies in addition to fascists, ethnosupremacists, racists, and religious fanatics.

And while not all Trump supporters are facists and white supremacists, all fascists and white supremacists are trump supporters. I hope that isn't too nuanced for you.

No problem. What good are your delusions if they don't amuse you?

I'm not a professional political hack, no. I'm doing very well with my engineering degree which I earned by virtue of academic proficiency, and paid for with GI benefits, and paid internship. I'm not hurt, I'm disappointed and disgusted.

Oh no, I know why. They thought if one could get in they could all get in.

Of course, they could always do the "heartfull" thing and go home to take care of their family.

Prolly not gonna do that though, huh?

    Yes I'm sure you're very anti-fa fa.

Nice list. Most fanatics have something like that.

    Ok great.

Let's look at fascist actions, like attacking people because of what they wear.

You start with giving me a Trump supporter who attacked someone for wearing something they didn't like.

Well I guess it must escape you that supporting American Societal Values is ALL about "what is good for them".

And I totally agree that every nation's immigration policy should first and foremost consider the benefits to that nation.

Feelings have quite a bit to do with policy making. For instance, if the government was so concerned about its citizens, it would make sense that they'd ban guns so citizens wouldn't be dying in their tens of thousands - oh wait, that's not what you meant at all, is it?

Oh the people who see Russians amuse me very much.

It's getting even better lately, like demanding the AG break the law and give them a report you can order from Amazon.

You mean you took the assets provided by your accident of birth and applied them? Exploited the opportunities presented to you?
Congratulations on being a productive human being.

As for disappointed and disgusted, welcome to the club.

I also notice you decry civilian entitlements but ignore corporate entitlements or did you just get distracted?

Yeah guns kill a lot of leftist democrats. Makes you wonder why places so heavily democrat have so much murder. Being geniuses, that seems strange to me.

Then you have deplorable places like Idaho where there are more guns than people, yet, strangely, almost no murder.

    Strange.

Hm rights enshrined by our founding documents are feelings? I never knew that. Oh, wait, I am sorry did you drop this straw man?

To the first part of your argument, how exactly does merit based immigration not benefit the nation?

Why on God's green Earth would we want to go to a merit-based system like the rest of the civilized world?

Our desire to import third worlders and become a third world country is going so well.

Well like I said before the arrogance of ignorance is a trait of human nature. I get how you know all these things about people you have never met and have had limited if any actual interaction with.

No I am not very anti-fa. What part of I hate fascists do you not understand?

No, fascists attack people for their ethnicity, not their clothes, although they are proponents of certain fashion statements. Seems you have forgotten your history. And you might want to review the Unite the Right trial transcripts and guilty pleas. But then again that would shatter your delusion that fascists are nice people.

And the people who don't disgust me.

I get how low your info bumperstickers work way better than trying to actually explain away the facts. Bullshit baffles some brains - another organizing principle of trumpland.

So basically you can't answer the question.

    Oh.

    Ok.

Name a Trump supporter who attacked someone for their ethnicity.

Should Americans have to outcompete the others based on price?
That could set a very low bar. You know how things are in the Third World.

Yes, I was accidentally born into a 2 parent working class household. I accidentally enlisted in the US Armry, and accidentally passed the college entrance exam too. It's been my accidental privilege to earn my economic privileges. Dufus. :roflol:

While I totally understand how strange genius might appear to you, especially since you seem to think gun violence and urban crime is partisan driven. But then again simple bumperstickers are so much easier to understand particularly when they support your value driven opinions.

    https://thecrimereport.org/2018/05/14/rural-violent-crime-rate-rises-above-u-s-average/

The violent-crime rate in rural areas rose above the national average for the first time in a decade, the Wall Street Journal reports. Though cities on average have a higher violent crime rate than rural areas, large metropolitan areas are safer than they have been in decades, while some small communities are getting more dangerous.

In at least 10 states, most in the Midwest and Northeast, the rate of violence in rural counties has increased over two decades, even as it has fallen or stayed the same in those states’ metropolitan areas. In these less-populated areas, increased drug use and associated crimes, like drug trafficking, prostitution and theft, as well as domestic violence, are fueling the rise.

Dealing with mental health has become part of policing, as deputies find themselves searching for a free bed in a treatment facility. New crime-fighting strategies are designed for urban policing, and sheriffs who police small towns say they are playing catch-up. Small departments, where budgets and the number of deputies have remained stagnant, are overwhelmed.

No, I'm used to strange geniuses in their own minds.

Sure, it's just that "gun violence", which requires a human to pull the trigger, seems strangely located only in places where Democrats congregate all over the US. Weird, huh.

    What a coinkidink.

Yeah, the rest of that is called "illegal immigration". Now I'm starting to get it.

    Democrats like crime.

Huh? I just congratulated you on using what you were given to accomplish something of your life. I see you totally missed the point. Re read what I posted.

    I'll break it down.

We are all endowed with whatever the results from the recombinant DNA of our parents are. We have no say in color, gender, intelligence, looks, health, family economic status etc. Those are the unearned assets or liabilities we start our lives with.

It is what an individual chooses to do with those assets and liabilities - i.e. their motivation and strength to accomplish life goals or often merely to survive in peace that is the real differentiator of success. Not everyone can follow your path or share your own personal motivations. Some will achieve more and many will achieve less and some will be total writeoffs.

    Dufus indeed.

What we need is to put in place a comprehensive plan that finally puts the issue to bed.
No more of these stopgap measures and continually kicking the can down the road.
What we need is something akin to what a bunch of us here at politicalforum came up with last year.

    PF Comprehensive Immigration Reform Compromise

How to make certain that Americans have the training and education they need and that the jobs are available
is an extremely important issue as well, one which exists outside the immigration debate,
and significant enough that I think needs to be handled as its own thing and in parallel.
