Use the term "unintended pregnancy" if it makes you feel better. It matters not to my argument. Obviously if a couple is using contraception a pregnancy is unintended. Obviously there are some cases - such as the condom breaking - where the pregnancy is an accident.

You should start hanging around with women who are more intelligent. What do you want me to tell you. It is not some secret that the majority of anti aborts hold that position on the basis of religions belief/ religious prognostication.

It does not take a rocked scientist to figure out that a single human cell (even if that single human cell is the mighty zygote) is not the same as a living human.

Even a child can figure this out. Just play the game "which one is not like the other" present a picture of a Man, an Ape, and a zygote and see which picture the kid chooses. It is through programming - much of which is spawned by religious organizations - that people hold their beliefs.

Do they no longer teach Human Taxonomy in High School Biology class ? You know - Characteristics of various organisms ? A human is a "Homo Sapiens" On the basis of Human Taxonomy - in order for an organism to be a "Homo Sapiens" that organism must have membership in - have the characteristics of - all the following clubs.

Kingdom, Phylum, Class, Order, Family, Genus Species. A zygote has membership in none.

I didn't invent the classification system. It is what it is. Obviously your friends did not understand high school biology. What else can account for their flawed beliefs ? Do they think the zygote has a soul ? That is a religious/Catholic Argument.

If you want to get into College level stuff - The zygote will never be part of the human that is in the process of being created. It will never be one of the cells of the body of that human.

Not a thing. Pregnancy is very easy to avoid. Every family in which there are less than a dozen kids is the result of planning (or in rare cases, infertility).

Absolutely. And the Dem crowd are all for funding PP, more comprehensive sex ed in schools and free condoms. Unfortunately, the Reps don't want that - they believe that 'abstinence only' programs are the way to lower teen pregnancy rates. And that isn't working. So please, share with me how you think we can lower pregnancy rates that actually work.
