Joe Biden Wants to Bring High-speed Rail to California — Again

There is an extensive rail system in California.

There is not an extensive high speed rail system in California.

Democrats took a bunch of money and never built it-it was just to hand out pork to local dems.

Thats how they do.

 

So because one state screws up, you throw the rest of the country under the bus?

BTW, not only did democrats (its all dems) take billions in federal funds-they also tried not to return the money.

And it gets worse-it took land from people using eminent domain-and did NOT pay them.

Turns out you give democrats power and they turn into this.

 

You label all democrats based on the actions of a few. That would be like blaming all republicans for Trump's screw ups. I suspect the farmers never got the money since Trump took it away from California.

 

Time for the USA to come out of the early twentieth century and build high speed rail coast to coast.If we try hard we can catch up with the modern world.

Yes, they were air conditioned. I remember that on the eastbound trips there was a several hour time when we were cut from the Super Chief and waiting for the New York Central; the car then got warm and I also remember the smell of the stockyards.
