Why because Corn and Soybean prices are going up and expected to sky rocket by years end due to nonplanted acres this year. I participated on an American Grain conference last week and the bottom line this years corn crop is barely going to America's corn needs this year much less the exports needed. What is expected is that the previous crops will finally be wiped out creating a shortage and fire up prices. It's been needed for a long time and gives the farmers a reset and the markets are agreeing with the surge in prices.

 

Seems to me if you don't have any beans to sell it doesn't make much difference what the price is.

 

There's a lot of things that you do not see, but it's right there in the very image used in your article, the cost of imports since the tariffs were implemented have gone up. Hence why so many businesses are against these taxes increases

 

Nothing misleading. Import prices overall have dropped.

 

They do raise corn and soy.

They are mostly democrats, and are doing fine.

I suspected this was the case when I saw that despite the increase in revenues to the US Treasury that US consumer price increases remain below the Fed's benchmark.

Someone is paying those tariffs and clearly it is NOT the US Consumer.
