"Supporters of President Trump have already begun lining up for his Orlando rally on Tuesday.

President Donald J. Trump is holding a rally at the Amway Center onTuesday evening to announce his re-election campaign. The event does not begin until 8 p.m.

However, people from across the United States began to line up outside of the Amway Center on Monday morning. Fox 35 was on scene and spoke to Maureen Bailey, a supporter of President Trump."

    <snip>

"Bailey is looking the most forward to hearing the President's message. "I hope he reviews the progress he has made in spite of the Republicans battling his initiatives along with the Democrats," she said."

    http://www.fox35orlando.com/news/mo...0-hours-ahead-of-re-election-rally-in-orlando

Reports are that over 100,000 people have requested to attend, but the Amway only holds 20,000 people. Special plans are already being made for the extra traffic, and it seems to be the top story on the radio stations. I cannot even fathom the traffic and security nightmare this will be, but it's a special bragging right for Orlando and will surely bring in revenue also, so that's the upside.

As a Floridian, I think it's cool that Trump is making his official announcement here.

I agree with the Trump supporter quoted in the article, who hopes Trump will focus on the progress he has made, and how he has done it in spite of opposition from Democrats and even some Republicans.

In my opinion, his accomplishments and his record are what will get him re-elected.

The Democrats seem to be running on platforms which are all variations of "we-hate-Trump" and "free sh*t", and I frankly don't think there are a) enough angry far leftists and/or b) enough freeloaders for a Democrat to win on that platform. (Although the increasing numbers of (b) are frightening, and may some day spell death to the Republican party, but that's a subject for another day ;)

Trump needs to keep drilling home his accomplishments. The economy, unemployment, consumer confidence, black unemployment, how Trump is pro-economy and business friendly (increased small business optimism, and reduced regulations), reductions in food stamps, pro-America president, etc. ---- remind people of those kinds of things, and hopefully keep the message positive.

Thoughts? (Is anyone from this board attending? )

Here leftie, let me explain to you how this works in the world of responsible grown-ups ;)
    1. If you don't own your own business, you ask for vacation time.
    2. You plan your trip and pay for it yourself.
    3. Voila, personal responsibility!

Wow, then I guess all those snarky comments about how liberals find the time to protest were all made by idiots, huh?

ONE official first announcement that Trump is running for re-election (historic) vs ENDLESS stupid dragged out and repeated whiny snowflake protests (stupid wastes of time and not even remotely historic.)

Now can you see the difference? ;) (Glad I could help!)

Trump announced that he was running for re election two years ago, so no new news there at all.

And Trump, who is the biggest snowflake in the nation, will be in full snowflake, yelling lies about “fake news”, race baiting, and name calling, all on a fifth grade level for an audience that is there to be entertained by his shtick,

In contrast to this the Dem Party's current front runner finds it difficult to find enough people who could fill up the average convenience store. The Dem Party is in trouble.

You still don't get it. Sorry! You might want to re-examine your barely functioning brain comment, LOL ;) I really don't think I can help you any more here, sorry, but I tried :D

    Exactly.

It's not even in the same ballpark (in terms of importance, frequency, or duration) as attending Trump's re-election rally.

    It is certainly a contrast.

I predict Trump's rally will be pretty motivational. I hope he sticks to the positive message of his successes.

What can possibly be more important than going to watch Trump beat his chest, call people idiotic childish names, and insist that the things he said on TV were all lies made up by the “fake news” media.

    That’s his whole act.

Maybe he’ll bring back old chestnuts like the snake story or ask people to pledge their loyalty to him.

I have here, right in my pocket, the complete plan for making America Great Again. See it? And the fake media keeps telling everyone I'm full of BS. I have it right here for all to see. Believe me, folks, pay no attention to the man behind the curtain.

only 8 people, plenty of restrooms, I would hope not..... that only happens when no where to go and you have to go... when natural calls you can only hold it so long

we had a parking ramp do that, close the restrooms after the bar closed as people were using the restrooms and he thought that would make his job easier... boy was he mistaken - those republicans had to go bad

The midterms in California was just a trail run for the 2020 elections.

Motor voter, ballot harvesting, non citizens voting.
