    Your argument is a strawman.

Yemen has been the greatest catastrophe in the world for at least 50 years.

All they do is kill each other constantly. More of the same is all this is.

    Well elucidate for me.

Tell us your solution. I can't wait to hear it.

I never claimed to have a solution. I am merely pointing out the hypocrisy of those who routinely chastise Iran for relatively minor infractions while attempting to minimize and even justify Saudi enormities.

Oh I see, you're just a critic here.

So when the blockade is lifted and SA stops attacking terrorists in Yemen, what happens next?

Please fill us in on how things will get better.

And you think Iranians just woke up one day and decided to chant such things? Gee, could it be that the US government has been trying to conquer and oppress Iran for decades? Could it have anything to do with the US overthrowing Iran's government and installing an oppressive puppet regime in the 1950's?

If we were trying to conquer Iran, we could do it in a month or two. Ask Iraq.

We're trying to oppress Iran? Really?

Let's take a look at Iran in the 1970's:

Now lets look at Iran in the 2010's:

There is zero proof that the Houthis are or ever were reliant on Iranian arms. The vast majority of arms inside Yemen were supplied by the US and Russia.

Here's a better idea: How about Saudi Arabia stops trying to dominate its neighbors. Because that's the only reason the Houthis are launching attacks on Saudi territory.

What does Yemen have that SA would even want?

I noticed you can't answer my question regarding what happens when the blockade is lifted and SA stops bombing terrorists in Yemen.

I'm sure you didn't think that far ahead so I'll give you a few minutes if you need it.

    A Sunni-led government. That’s what SA wants.

Only if there was sufficient political will. But in the absence of such, the US government has had to resort to more indirect methods, like sanctions and clandestine operations. Yet the objective is the same: The subjugation of the Iranian people.

    Yup.

The US and the UK overthrew Iran's prime minister and replaced him with a dictator in the 1950's. That is oppressive behavior according to any rational standard.

Do you have any pictures of the Shah's secret police torturing and murdering political dissidents?

Now show me some pictures of Iran before its prime minister was overthrown by the CIA.

So apart from being the worst atrocity in modern times, the Saudi blockade is also a strategic failure.

    So I was right.

The age-old "sunni killing shia and vice-versa since 600 AD" chestnut.

That's up to the people of Yemen.

Except your chosen president is arming the Sunni side and even wants to give them nukes.

Territory, population, ports, harbors, sea lanes, air space, etc.

Calling everyone and everything you disagree with "terrorism" is not an argument.

Anyway, what happens when Saudi Arabia lifts its blockade should be rather obvious: Millions of people who are now starving will have access to food and medicine. Is that not enough?

The people of Yemen are in desperate need of food and medicine. Lifting the blockade will allow this to happen. I didn't think something so obvious required an explanation.

And why would the US want to take sides in that ancient blood feud? And why, if the US did take a side, would it side with the Saudis, who are the embodiment of the absolute worst that radical Islam has to offer?

If the US and the UK had simply left Iran alone in the 1950's, it would have secularized by now. Shiites and Persians are generally much more moderate than Sunnis and Arabs.

Yeah, and if we had left Afghanistan alone in the 1970s-80s, it would have been much better off. But no, we just had to "liberate" the country from its socialist government and those evil Soviets.

Take a look at pictures of Afghanistan from before the mujahadeen and today. That one is on us.

Yes, I was about to mention that. Pictures from Kabul before the US supported the mujaheddin...

No, I'm the one who keeps telling you the truth, which is Yemen chose this route.

You keep pretending that things will get better if the blockade is lifted.
