Serious question -- what do Trump supporters think the citizenship question was supposed to DO?

The body of your "work" over the last few pages speaks for itself.

    I'll let others judge.

Cool non sequiturs. Got anymore? Remember the rule of 3: stuff like hat is always more impressive in 3s.

It has been argued that the federal government has no authority over immigration. Ironically, by @Gary/Dubya, who liked your post. Go figure.

Hmmm .... ratification of the constitution that's twice been amendmended to extend representation to citizens previously excluded? Your brilliance really shines when you consider the constitution had to be amended TWICE because ALL "people" standing on US soil was NEVER adopted as the constitutional standard.

Other than for obvious political purposes, it's just another distraction for his base to sink it's teeth into like the frickin big beautiful wall (how's that going?)

Trump's base is so obsessed with immigration from the southern border it borders on insane.

Still trying to shift tracks I see. Please, show any time in US history when ONLY citizens were counted to determine House seats. I look forward to your own "shine."

Wait until I explain using advanced math (for a leftist) that even if they lie, they can still figure it out.

People who have broken into your house while you are filling out the census should be the first listed. The government needs to have such data.

For as long as the census bureau has separated citizens from non citizens categorically. Why else collect the data?

They claim they already know the percentage of illegal aliens who will not answer the census if a citizenship question is on it. Just subtract from the number who actually do answer, and use the percentage they have provided to adjust.

The last person I asked for a source on this panicked, threw a fit, and put me on ignore for daring to ask. But let's try again. Source?

Lets see if you know how to use "non sequitur" correctly.

I know, let's check the dictionary:

    Dictionary

    non se·qui·tur
    /ˌnän ˈsekwədər/
    noun
noun: non sequitur; plural noun: non sequiturs; noun: nonsequitur; plural noun: nonsequiturs
    1. a conclusion or statement that does not logically follow from the previous argument or statement.
"his weird mixed metaphors and non sequiturs"
    What was your response?

So you're suggesting that the statements on immigration by the people who signed the Constitution don't logically follow an argument on illegal immigration, the census, or any of the other things discussed.

    It's really funny.

Your ability to grasp a logical fallacy is itself a logical fallacy.

Never is a long time back in history. The census has always counted people.

It's really funny, but it's even more funny that they don't grasp basic logic.

It's not like they know how many SSN's or visa's they've issued or anything.

The best way to defeat them is let them keep talking.
