If you believe people then why don't you believe the accused as well the accuser? Legal representation is expensive, ruinously so and rich people can hire lawyers and private detectives to fight their case. My attorney who is one of the best in South Florida charges $300 per hour in office and $500 per hour in court with a $3K retainer, now one might think my case would have been cleared by the video, which showed her getting partially undressed in my living room followed by her walking into my bedroom and later showed me walking out of the kitchen and into the bedroom with a glass of water in one hand and a can of soda in the other, clearly demonstrating she was not forced to go in there making it definitely consensual.

The states first answer to the video was they will have it excluded from being entered as evidence, because she was unaware she was being recorded, fortunately for me the judge ruled since it was a home security system and the cameras where in plain view, she should have been aware she was on camera and possibly being recorded.

Then the state agreed to lower the charge to simple assault, my attorney refused and made it clear there was more video and it was only after the ASA watched what living room channel recorded, did she agree to drop the charges entirely.

It was a chunk of money I didn't need to spend, but I did get some of it back, we sued her for being a part of a malicious prosecution by lying under oath and were issued a default judgment because she failed to show up in court.

But that was it for me, no more dating for almost 3 years until I met a lady who became my wife some 38 years ago.

Prior to that happening to me I never considered that a woman would do something like she did, but I quickly learned the real world the hard way.
