They sure are.... And I much sooner keep them than I'd keep all these white supremacists that pollute our country lately. I'd target them for deportation.

While we're at it, I don't know a lot of people in favor of "open borders." whatever that means, or automatic citizenship. No, my friends and I believe in legal immigration, green cards, naturalization and all the legal routes.

The truth is, we have a tough problem and, unless you count waving ones arms, we don't really have any good ideas on what to do about it. So it festers and worsens as bad ideas are applied. I especially like the genius that thought up, let's cut the aid to the countries are fleeing. JHC!

Here's an idea (and I'm serious) these two or three county's citizens are invading America so let's do what will get results. Declare war on them and invade. Sweep up the garbage, clean up the corruption, beef up law enforcement, then leave.

Create a national ID patterned on the Nexus Pass that's tied to a database where the government can pull a work visa in an electronic flash. The ID can double as a Social Security card. It can be designed to be read with a smart phone. Every employer, even of domestics or day labor, would be required by law to check the ID to make sure the person is a citizen or has a work visa. Get caught hiring an illegal? A nasty fine. Get caught hiring a bunch of illegals? Jail.

No need to screw with walls except at strategic locations. No jobs, no reason to stay ... we don't have to spend a lot of energy rounding 'em up.

I always see "American Citizen". The Constitution always makes the distinction by adding "citizen" to .whatever word they use.
