    Yeah, I forgot about Jared.

So, what is wrong about it? I would agree it would be wrong to hire a relative as AG, or Sec. of Treasury, or some other high position in our Federal Government, but hiring them as Advisers....not so much.

Presidents over the years have used their wives to do Government business. Bill had Hillary do the first healthcare proposal. Michelle Obama did many functions. Using family members to "help" is not really that alien.

in the simplest terms I can explain.

I support anybody that wishes to dictate the terms of an interview within reasonable parameters.

I consider his request to be reasonable.

If he had insisted that she do the interview naked, then I would consider his request unreasonable.

I don't think it's "old fashion" but new fashion and precautionary. The #METOO movement makes it to where EVERY man should be cautious with being alone with a women as once an accusation is out there, your career is easily ruined.

The left doesn't realize that when they took their #metoo thing too far it actually hurt women.

Do you have proof of that....I mean besides some blog site full of people's opinions?

However, I am sure he is more than just an adviser and I have no doubt he has influence. That is pretty much the roll of the Senior Adviser to the President. Every President has and had a Senior Adviser that has had much influence. These Senior Adviser were very likely people the President trusted....go figure. Do you not think that Valerie Jarrett did not "basically run the show in the background"? What about Karl Rove for Bush?

    LINK?

Trump says a lot of things, but I doubt if he said that Jared "basically runs the show in the background as [I have] has no clue what [I am] doing". His ego is too big for that.

So, you didn't answer my question: Do you think Valerie Jarrett or Carl Rove basically ran things behind the scene?

LOL! I am correct, treating people differently based on their gender IS sexism.

I can hardly wait to see your definition of sexism.....it'll be a laugh riot, I'm sure...

Yes, women are human and have flaws exactly like men but that doesn't mean they can be sexually abused and harassed....quit making excuses.

WHERE did I say you said that??? NO where :)

Do you intend to defend women and counter the arguments of those who say all women lie and sleep their way to the top?

    You just proved him right.

Nowhere in that definition does it say what you claim....that the mere act of treating woman different, based on gender, is sexist. People can treat woman differently without prejudice, discrimination or based on social stereotypes. For instance, my sister and I are on a long road trip. She says she needs to go to the bathroom. I will pull into the next rest stop. My brother and I are on a long road trip. He says he needs to go to the bathroom. I toss him an empty soda bottle.

Who do you think should be more worried about being alone with the opposite sex...

    men or women?

All women should now refuse to EVER be alone with a man in not only any professional situation but any situation ever.

All men need to be assigned a chaperone of some sort 24/7 as they simply can't ever be trusted.
