And what's funny is that should be the baseline test. If you can't pass that test, then you shouldn't be considered.

I may have not like W's style, but I knew he was doing what he felt was best for the US. I also knew and saw him react to changing information and align his plans to that. Trump doesn't. Barack Obama did that with Obamacare. He didn't let the left wing of his party cram their agenda 100% into the bill, he co-opted Romney care because he knew it would be tough to argue against something that was proven, there was good data on, and had ideas from across the aisle. Again, he wasn't perfect as none of them were, but never did their actions make me mistrust them in this manner.

Define Pro-America and list the examples. It's not pro-American to tell people to live simply because you don't agree with their opinions. That's the exact opposite of being supportive of American ideals and values.

Being a non-politician isn't an inherently good thing. Being a politician isn't inherently a bad thing.

Trump doesn't understand politics, real functioning politics, because he lived and operated in a pseudo-criminal environment. All he knows about politics is you pay someone off to get the permit you need and lie to everyone else about when the project will be done. Then you go find cheap Chinese steel and cheap, undocumented labor to get the job done quickly, refuse to honor your agreements with as many sub-contractors as you can get away with, and declare success. This is not indicative of anything good, it's just evidence of a cheater, in my opinion.

    Sure you did.

You said the OP, which is about a CNN panel of women sharing their opinions was....how did you put it.... oh yeah "The Onion is more worthy of being taken seriously than the FAKE "Narrative" of the OP."

Please explain the fake narrative expressed by these women in this video, and why their opinions should not be taken seriously.

    Oh I understand completely.

All women, except those who don't say the things you think they should say, should be taken seriously.

Who do the countries in question only have one race.

If I told you I told someone to go back to Canada, would you know what race they were, and would that be "racist"?

I hope you are right, but we generally only hear from their national mouth pieces and the Fake News Media. If they don't speak for the Rank and File, the Rank and File is sure keeping quiet about it.

I forget where trumps family is from but I think it's Germany. Of a Democrat said go back to Germany, nobody would be calling it racist.
So, in conclusion, they still have NO message except for the race card

I understand the concept of bias, and that what you are really referring to is "implicit bias" a concept that studies have shown is neither testable nor repeatable. Concepts that are not testable or repeatable, the sensible quickly disregard, yet you just used it to dismiss an entire group of women because if they didn't share your preconceptions that they must be exhibiting "bias". You do understand that this is how you maintain your bubble that shields you from real world information?

Researchers from the University of Wisconsin at Madison, Harvard, and the University of Virginia examined 499 studies over 20 years involving 80,859 participants that used the IAT and other, similar measures of "implicit bias" and quickly discovered two things:

One is that the correlation between implicit bias and discriminatory behavior isn't really there.
And that changes in implicit bias do not have anything to do with changes in a person’s behavior.

To put it concisely, you have been sold a load of crap that you are now using to shield yourself from real world feedback and to self-righteously judge others.

In another 2013 meta-analysis of papers, researchers clearly found that, despite its frequent characterization as a window into the unconscious,

"the IAT provides little insight into who will discriminate against whom, and provides no more insight than simply asking people if they are biased against a particular group.
You think? Thank goodness these crazy Leftwing America Hating Kooks don't have the power of the Salem Witch hunters or they would be turning their political opponents into torches.
Mindless unsupported mutterings of no import.
No it isn't. Trump never named the people, he never mentioned race, all of that was injected by the Left. Legally you can come here and say whatever the hell you want. But when you are running down our society, claiming that it is conceived in sin, in need of a fundamental rebuild, when you came from a failed state hellhole thanks to our generosity, we have every right to ask "well then why the hell don't you go back and fix that, and then return here and share what you learned?"
I'm aware of your bigotry toward my country. What do you think of your PM's fake eyebrows?

I've visited NY so maybe I should hold my opinion back on that part of the discussion.
I've visited worse, lets leave it at that.

Reminder that what W FELT was best wasn't always best.... but much of it was done with the best intentions....

I get your point... When people are waxing romantically about the idiot George Bush Jr, you know the Republicans have jumped the tracks...

I had nothing against most of the recent Republican nominees... McCain would have been a very solid president (he was toast when he took on that shrew as VP) and Romney, while bland, would have been only slightly less so...

I really haven't been politically active most of my life, until I joined this forum in Oct 2017. I'm only anti-Trump, plus now anybody who continues to support him. Eventually (maybe 2028 ), there will emerge a Republican candidate who won't be completely irrelevant due to support of Trump... Still, extremely unlikely I ever vote for anybody from that party again if they can get hijacked that easily...

Their opinions should absolutely be taken seriously....

They're wrong, but entitled to their opinion... everybody is...

Current opinion in the country is that Trump's tweet was racist AND un-American (actually more un-American than racist, which sounds about right)

The OP just tried to sell everybody a bill of crap with "CNN panel of women".... and he was called out for it...

we will gladly welcome you back when the time is right. Perhaps you will re-think your stance halfway through the next Dem's first term if things go batchit crazy. I have some control over my income and earnings, I know for sure i'm going to be pushing a bunch up into 2020 and saving it in case the election goes left, I'll probably need it.

    ty :)

my last trip to NY was for a cruise, was there 36 hours and couldn't wait to get out of there and onto the ship, When we cruise the NE again, it will be from a different port.

I grew up in Chicago (again no comment lol) and parents moved me to the cornfields of ILL for my formative years then eventually fled to a sleepy little town in Florida away from the blizzards and high taxes, I only go back to visit family for weddings, funerals, and the occasional bears game, that's more than enough for me. I love where I'm at now and was glad I had an opportunity to raise my family down here, it worked out splendidly.

Fascinating - I was born in Chicago (Go Cubs!) and I've always found it to be much nicer than New York. Of course, I might be a wee bit biased and the Windy City isn't as old and run down as its older counterparts on the Atlantic coast. However, I will throw the Big Apple a bone and acknowledge that it's not near as foul as Filthadelphia (and many Eagles fans).

A lot of the DP rank and file breached the Great Blue Wall for Trump. DP leaders are still in denial. Michael Moore has been trying to clue them in since before 11/16.

"Michael Moore disputed the notion that all the people who voted for President-elect Donald Trump are racist Friday, reiterating the fact that millions of them voted for President Barack Obama in 2008 and 2012.
“They’re not racist,” Moore said on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe.” “They twice voted for a man whose middle name is Hussein. That’s the America you live in.”
Moore was pushing back against another panelist who said “deep racial animus” at the heart of the country was behind Trump’s win. “What I’m trying to get at, is at the heart of this country is some deep racial animus that animates the very communities we’re trying to lift up,” Eddie Glaude Jr., chair of the African American department at Princeton University told the panel."

It is pro-American to denounce America haters, and politicians are inherently a bad thing. Some overcome that handicap to some extent. Trump does not like politicians and that is a good thing.

Trump buildings look good and the interiors are impressive.
Politicians let the cheap Chinese Steele flow into America - NAFTA.
Sub-contractors in NYC are often pseudo-criminals - and that is a nice way to put it.

A cheater? Well, Trump really did stick it to the Big Bad Banks that tried to take him down. Almost makes me cry whenever I think about that. ;-)
